@tnguyen318 SCIENCE! static is typically produced by different fabrics tumbling together. If you are only washing cotton clothes, you probably won't have that much static. But if you have a few highly charged fabrics in your dryer, like wool and polyester, you'll have static generated.
Ok I honestly think these machines suck. If you watch carefully there is no water in the machine washing the clothes it's just rolling around in a little water and soap. I would never buy this machine. I'm at my uncles and I'm using his machine to wash clothes and I'm very disappointed. I love the old machines better at least they fill up with water. Just my honest opinion
How good it is on the drying mode? Does it dry evenly (i.e not leaving some items soggy and others bone dry)? How reliable has it been? Im thinking of getting a washer-dryer so your help will be appreciated. Thanks.
@Diamondblade2008 It seems to dry evenly and is reliable; we've had it for 2 years now and are very happy with it. I've never had a dryer that leaves some items dry and others soggy though... maybe if a duvet cover has twisted itself around a small cluster of towels...
@sarahblam Thats great thanks. I've had my Hotpoint washing machine for nearly 4 years and (touch wood) it has never gone wrong. I'd love the convienience of a washer dryer though.
@iwatchfunny (sorry didn't check YouTube for a bit) It locks during the cycle - you can see a little red indicator next to the time showing it's lock. If you hit pause mid-wash, it will unlock after a second and you can open it.
Yea, like they aren't all the same right? Gimme a break. None of them excell because its all the same people and same service companies coming to your house. Just buy the extended warranty and buy from a reputable dealer (such as Home Depot) and know that they will make you whole should something happen. Make the best buying decision initially is a good start. We just researched and bought a new LG front loader set (both steam) from HD with a 4-yr warranty for $179 total for both.
Nice front loader, I am going to be getting a front load washer and dryer soon. how many loads did you put inside the washer. and like how sings when its done the loads
It has varying spin speeds (you can choose high, low, medium spin speed too) and we haven't noticed a problem with vibration. But then we haven't tried a lopsided load at max spin speed yet, lol. If we try I'll make a video :)
the true balance works AWESOME, when the spin starts it will vibrate noticiably for about 3-4 seconds, then the true balance will counter-balance the load with ball bearings and the thing goes completely still, its SO cool! I've seen these things go 1300RPM and make almost no noise or vibration. Its really spooky the first time you see it.
i think tht this is a dumb vedow i think it could have been better

How come there's so much static when you use the dryer? Where does cotton pick up that electricity?

@bakasan39 they dont service them anymore (at least not here). If it breaks down, they just take back the broken one and drop a brand new one off.
