This has got to be the most compelling track in the game. The track reminds of great sorrow but also of intense honor and pride. My favorite for sure.
Man i remember the days when me and my cousinused to play this game in 1999 when i was 4 and he was 6 and we aways used to stop in Dragnier to listen to this music lol
Ah, the memories just wash over from this game. Played it when I was 13, now 10 years later I can still recall every memorable awesome scene from this epic game. This was from an era back when games actually taught you important lessons in them instead of being just a mish mash of flashy graphics.
Its like its saying;look at the dragon civilization:Once a great empire roaming freely,sure they took it too far and tried to destroy humanity(bof1) then those dragon slayers came and fought us,we refused to fight back and they killed most of us and now hardly any of us are left and we are forced to flee and hide.
Ah this song always fills me with a lonliness. To me, it speaks of the Brood's twilight; they've fallen far, pushed to the brink of civilization, and forced to give up their power in order to live in a secluded "peace" among the ruins of their once great city.
Faded and forgotten glory, that's what this song reminds me of.
This song is pretty cool. ^^ It's so quiet and calm... it seems somewhat ominous too, which kind of makes sense considering the whole town is filled with Dragon people, how you have to fight the Elder Dragon, and Garr's internal conflict from being here since their his enemies...

C'est quand même audacieux de faire une reprise de l'opening toute à la fin du jeu.... et pourtant génial ;)

@ninja1982
I did the exact same thing.
Even though I own the disk...just so much easier to save states when you're an older gamer.

Does anyone have the music that played in the Wyndian dungeon? I don't know what it might be called.

It's a rather calm and cold song, still, it can be quite relaxing. Mysterious... It was a very cool game with many good memories.... :)

@Thurwocket I find it sad and depressing:
Its like its saying;look at the dragon civilization:Once a great empire roaming freely,sure they took it too far and tried to destroy humanity(bof1) then those dragon slayers came and fought us,we refused to fight back and they killed most of us and now hardly any of us are left and we are forced to flee and hide.

I agree.

@NisnNat reminds me more of fleeing and persecution and damned and unhappiness.

@NisnNat well said... glad to see others appreciating this masterpiece of a game as much as I do
