You can block individual applications, but not all of them. I have emailed facebook support about them and told them there should be an easier way. I've blocked like 50 and removed 2 or 3 "friends" who sent a bunch, and now I don't get any really.

Click on the "block application" button under the request and then do what it says... They're really annoying. I got 404 requests in 1 day!

i'm pretty much the same way with twitter. There's actually a twitter app for facebook (combing the two evils ahahaha!!) that can update your twitter and your fb status at the same time. Now if only more ppl I actually know were on twitter...

you can block those applications on facebook by going to your notifications and on the right side there is a list of some of the applications and you just need to uncheck them so they don't show. they're so annoying..

there is an option to bock applications when you receive them so that people can no longer invite you to them. It's in the application invite and it's labelled "block this application" :)

Whenever someone sends you an invite, they have this link that says, "Block invitations from this application." Or something like that. Just press that. Hope that helped!

I find a few applications amusing, but a lot of them are really stupid. I've gotten 4 invites to find out what character I am in a book I haven't even read. Most just aren't observant enough to realize you don't actually have to send annoying invites to all your friends just to use the application.

There is a way to block specific applications, like if you hate "Pirates vs. Ninjas" you can block invites from that.

There is also a way to block requests from individual friends, so when some random YouTube "friend" sends requests from a bunch of worthless apps, you can block all invites coming from them.

I think there's little buttons that say "block this application" & "block invites from this user" on the invites.

The thing about Facebook application invitations is that it's so difficult to pick and choose who you invite. it's just easier to send glomps of invitations to whoever. It does bug me how you are forced to send these mass invitations so you can get like, 10 coins or whatever.
