I agreed with NewOperaFan. In Singapore I grew up with going to live Cantonese Opera stage shows with my mom and aunts back in the 60's and 70's. To me genuine Cantonese opera performance should be exactly what Mr. Cheung had performed....all made up and dressed up in costumes and with plenty of body movements. It does not do any justice to Cantonese Opera if you are not in traditional opera costumes and without all the necessary hand, feet movements and facial expressions. Mr Cheung did well.

WOW, extraordinary talent for a 9 year old. I live in Canada and I watched the actual TVB telecast on satellite TV few months ago. I find Mr. Cheung has a lot more singing and entertaining talent than many of the older Hong Kong "singer stars" I see on TVB shows. He beats them hands down.

He is extremely talented for a 9 year old. Very expressive, very entertaining. Aa difficult opera song to memorize and perform. He deserved 2nd place if not first in the competition.
