If you want to play without invest, you NEED to have alot ALOT of time to give to the game. This game looks really boring... They went out of their way to use the Cryengine, they should have made it an mmofps. It doesn't look like there is anything engaging or interesting to do in this game... what a waste of talent...
EU features an extensive hunting and PVP system, it is a FPS and more. This video barely scratches the surface, it features 2 activities, but there are hundreds of activities you can undertake.
You cant just watch this video and think you know everything about the game. Try doing a bit more research before posting stupid comments.
While your nerdrage is pretty funny to read, the game is far less interesting, even after watching other videos of it. First-person play doesn't make it an FPS. So, still a waste of a good graphics engine. Hopefully someone else will come along and do a better job with it. I see potential in the concept, but not in this particular title. A swing and a miss, but hopefully someone will be able to stand on the corpse and reach a bit higher.
I think entropia looks better here than the final product. Mindark removed so many of the little animations which in this video made it good. Just simple things like how the avatar moves when mining and such.
There are vehicles. It is like second life except better grahpics and a better experience! It owns second life. This is futuristic version but i like this better.

It's set in the future but unfortunately the only way you can travel around is by walking/running/using teleports... WTF? no vehicles... this is what happens when swedish people try to make games. It sucked before they dressed it all up with eye candy too!

this is a real economy game, you can put your money into the game, or you can take money out of the game. Playing without investing is a long process, though possible, many people stop because they try to play without investing just a little bit. If you want to play without invest, you NEED to have alot ALOT of time to give to the game. Some people can add alot of money in their pockets in this game, but MOST of the time they are investing in the game.

I've low in graphic mode while playing Entropia Universe - it sucks.
With a new graphic card that's gonna cost me 1'000 KR (currently $143,94) I will be able to play with medium.
A friend, who's very good with computers, told me that a computer with the stuff to master very high on graphic mode in EU, would cost about 15'000 SEK, that's fucking $2159,05. What am I rich? No, but even with my fucked up graphic playing this game, I'm fucking inlove with it.

The low res texturing on some objects and low poly modeling, i know it might be a bit too much to ask for equal graphics as like Crysis but when u use their engine people are gonna compare it.

This video was a preview of how the development process was going, 6 months before the actual upgrade, the graphics look far better once you are in game, though not as good as Crysis of course.
This video is a preview of the graphics, rather than the game play itself, activities are not limited to opening champagne bottles and shooting bubbles on the grass at night.

I have Crysis, and it's a great game. Although I have played WoW, a comparison is quite unnecessary. WoW brings you nothing in life, but EU can earn you money, and meet new people.

EU features an extensive hunting and PVP system, it is a FPS and more. This video barely scratches the surface, it features 2 activities, but there are hundreds of activities you can undertake.
You cant just watch this video and think you know everything about the game. Try doing a bit more research before posting stupid comments.

While your nerdrage is pretty funny to read, the game is far less interesting, even after watching other videos of it. First-person play doesn't make it an FPS. So, still a waste of a good graphics engine. Hopefully someone else will come along and do a better job with it. I see potential in the concept, but not in this particular title. A swing and a miss, but hopefully someone will be able to stand on the corpse and reach a bit higher.

I think entropia looks better here than the final product. Mindark removed so many of the little animations which in this video made it good. Just simple things like how the avatar moves when mining and such.

I've been playing this game for a few days and although it does look good visually, it is actually quite crap and here is why:
It's set in the future but unfortunately the only way you can travel around is by walking/running/using teleports... WTF? no vehicles... this is what happens when swedish people try to make games. It sucked before they dressed it all up with eye candy too!
What a load of Swedish crap. If you're thinking about trying this game, don't bother.
