This is great! I thought I would never see anything like this on You tube. I'm Byzantine Ruthenian Rite and was Crowned in Marriage 4 months ago at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Albuquerque. We have a great video and the large golden crowns were just beautiful! Lots of people were there and the Church interior with all the icons on the big Iconistas was gorgeous. Mnohaja blahaja l'ita! (May God Grant You Many Happy Years!)
@TheEldoradoKid Thank you, and my apologies for not replying sooner! My husband was at your church last year for a wedding - he remembers it being very beautiful!

any true bizantine dies when related to catholicism, the Vatican offered the roman imperial crown to the turkish sultan if he accepted the pope...they sell anything being the true thieves that have made of God's temple a house of commerce, how could they now make up something like 'byzantine catholic' a monstruosity
@SergioAlejandroLira You are welcome to your opinion, but since Jesus Christ is at the center of our church, Body, Blood and Divinity, it is hard for me to think of it as a "monstrosity". God bless you in your journey towards His glory. :-)
I Catholic of the Latin Rite. How beautiful your ceremony is? I love the way you are crowned. The priest has a lovely voice. Peace, happiness and the love of Christ be with you always.
Ah...to be crowned. What a wonderful moment. Ours wouldn't have fit a barbie (they were full crowns and very small) and the walk around the tetrapod was frankly dangerous but it was the happiest day of my life
The Ruthenians are still very LATINIZED. No vows are taken in Orthodox or Melkite weddings.....

@Garbanzo884, how do you know whether we took vows at this wedding? Were you there?

I'm Orthodox too but I don't think someone's marriage video is the best place for polemics on these matters.
