Obviously when you allow people in office who simply echo the Right-wing's agenda, then nothing will change. And since the USA is so Right leaning/corporate, things never change. There are many people worthy of support (all on the Left). Also, are you writing to your Senators, Congressmen, etc? Do *you* do *your* part in shaping government?

@MrBritnic There are candidates who support reforming the system to make it so money doesn't control who gets into office... like Ralph Nader, Dennis Kucinich, Bernie Sanders, Alan Greyson, etc (all on the Left). The problem is people expect change when they vote for a conservative democrat, like Obama. Sadly Obama is carrying out many of the Bush policies. The Right generally favors big money controlling everything. So nEVER vote conservative. And force people like Obama to be more progressive.

The problem is conservative policy (which all republicans share and some conservative democrats share). This is clear if you are informed on the issues.

What people need to understand is that by supporting right wing politicians they are furthering their own demise (be it due to environmental degradation, corporate domination at the expense of the individual, etc).

Mandyj6673 claimed to be a patriot, yet she's a hardcore conservative. SHE is creating the very problems she complains about.

i really like your messages. keep 'em coming. i truly believe this health care and cap and trade is meant to distract us from what is actually going on. i do however believe that they both are another power grab. i think that anyone that does not and has not seen the new world coming are living in a fantasy world. i think bush, obama, clinton, and mccain are all in the same game plan. i think race wars are set up by the shadow government. ppl need to seriously put color aside.

Well, this shows you have little knowledge about these issues. Cap and Trade is a start to cleaning up polluting industries, but it's not enough. We need SERIOUS efforts at moving away from fossil fuel use. I hardly see how this would be seen as a "power grab". Health care reform is DESPERATELY needed.

People are DYING right now, going bankrupt, right now, due to lack of health insurance- all due to the conservatives. The problem we're facing is that Obama is too conservative. If you're a patriot (like you claim) stop voting conservative- republicans are the problem.
