Apparently Canadians are under the mistaken impression that China actually cares about "human rights". They don't. Nor do they acknowledge "Western" freedoms of religion, speech, and peaceful assembly. They find the notion of "international law" a worthless concept. Look at the thousands of their own Han citizens they oppress, imprison and execute. The Uighurs should remember how the PLA cracked down on the Tiananmen Square protesters. China won't be embarassed into releasing Celil.

I agree with you fully. Canada should pick on Uzebakistan that CAUGHT Celil, who is a CHINESE by birth first, and transferred to China.
