  • ..Everything But The Music

  • the music in the beginning is miserable, great videos, love your channel!

  • good explanation :)

    good light :D!!

  • Was your fill light also a strobe and umbrella steup or studio light and umbrella?

what setting was your speedlight setting on for the back hair light?

    Thanks in advance

    enjoy your video

  • Great tutorial

  • would you trust this guy to babysit your kids?

  • @sampreap what the f*ck does babysitting have to do with this video? Idiot

  • Hi cousin Mike! I really like Ur style and work with Ur speedlites! I have 4 speedlites with stands, umbrellas and a ST-E2 transmitter, but don't understand how 2 use them correctly 2 get the best out of them. I have tried some of the setups that U have in other videos but I'm not getting the same effects. I'm good with studio lights, but don't like 2use those on location. What am I doing wrong and is there anyway U can breakdown how 2use them, so that I can get the best out of them? -Shazzy-

  • @sharonmitchener use them in manual mode just like you would with your studio lights

  • nice nice nice! :)

  • Thank you love your video's! Easy to follow!Very informative!

  • May I say: you, sir, are awesome. You have a Germanic accent; wohnen Sie in die nähe von München, vielleicht?

  • I liked how the two umbrellas were used as the main light in place of a large softbox. For those of us who are on a budget, this is a viable alternative. Thanks for the tips.

  • I love your videos! They are very useful! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! :)

  • NIce work sir

  • @ProPhotoHouston02 thanks a lot

  • Great video, but I notice you never show the actual photo shoot. Why is that?

  • @fret2424 It's because this time we had no time to shoot video at all. In my other videos I do show photo shoots, but I don't have footage from this particular one.

  • @d3vilm3cv Thanks for your nice words. Of course I am sharing the results of the shoot. They are in the blogpost of the video. The URL is in the text below the video and in the video itself. Youtube does not let me post the URL in the comments heres.

  • another great vid....tx

  • do you shoot in Manual with these or ETTL?

  • @jmalonear They are all on ETTL. Main light Group A + 0.5 EV, Fill Group B -1 EV and the backlight Group C -3 EV. Check the lighting diagram with camera settings at the blogpost (URL in the text above)

  • @FreePhotographyTips thanks...I looked at Diagram, but I am still curious. Do you shoot a situation like this on Shutter Priority or Aperture Priority?

  • @jmalonear Thank you, excellent point. In the future I will add that to the diagrams. I am shooting on manual. Always. Shooting on any of the priority modes in a situation like this will give you insane shutter times or aperture values. In these modes the cam will try to work with natural light - which would be desperate in such dark rooms. However, even when I am outdoor I am shooting on M all the time. In the viewfinder I have a little lightmeter telling me how much over or beyond I am

  • Great tips. Big fan of the speed lites!

  • @usairpower hahaha, me too!
