  • One of my fave NO tracks. Too bad Barney hates it.

  • i've been listening to this for 20 years and my wonder fails to diminish! Magical.

  • I've been looking for this track for years. Love it. Wish I could find an mp3 of it.

  • just ran out of gas near manchester n thought this was fitting..

  • fab ... maida sessions/peel sessions are great ... maidavalelover Denmark

  • I have always loved this song ever since it came out!!!!

  • early N.O. & joy division made the soundtrack of my youth & are the tunes that make me smile with bliss as an adult.

  • This is one of my all-time favorite New Order tracks. Apparently Bernard hates it.

  • i remember riding around on my bmx at night with a cheap walkman on listening to this ,it seemed to take me to other places , the song not the bmx that is , i had to be in for 10 had school the next day

  • beautiful song

  • my god this song is sad

  • bernard is gonna beat them all , gonna beat them all .he does another cover, with electronic, named' can't find my way home', by steve winwood, and recently,' in the ghetto', of elvis fame. bernard's versions of each are more interesting . turn the heater on,especially, is pure magic in this young non singer's hands. the singer that all singers should try to learn from. nothing worse than the want -to- be singers maybe this is the best new order song, i played it nonstop all day.

  • what a classic slightly differeent style by new order on this track what would i do to b listening to music like this now and everyday

  • irie order

  • i have both the original vinyl peel sessions would rather die than part with them!

  • This is a first class tribute to the only master of Dubb that really matters, Mr Keith Hudson. I feel very honored that Ian Curtis was a fan. I certainly hope both gentlemen will meet up in that great skyscape to create some of the deepest music ever, with Bob Marley and King Tubby sitting in.

  • I just came across Jah Division doing 'Dub WIll Tear Us Apart' , after which I had to hear this again...

  • This song should be put on in stereo and let play again and again and again...just wonderful !!!!!!!

  • Amazing song !!!!!

  • Brings back such sweet memories...

Fell in love with a girl in the weeks listening to this song many a time.

    That was decades ago.

    Nice NO cover.

  • cant. stop .playing. it

  • never heard this song before. its amazin so good

  • i stole this disc at a record convention at the castlegate hotel(now demolished)in atlanta in 1990. still enjoying it!

  • @scafflife IT WAS YOU ????

  • Quite possibly the best cover version I've ever heard. Admittedly, I'm biased as New Order are my favourite band behind Joy Division, but I love the spacious, cold atmosphere of this version. I think it's a shame that Power, Corruption & Lies didn't sound more like the 82 Peel Sessions, as I prefer New Order during the Movement period (though I'm definitely in the minority here.)

  • Nice to hear Hooky playing bass guitar, for a change

  • I never knew this was a cover! I had it as a b-side to something and played it constantly.

  • a classic

  • this is amazing, never heard it until 2 days ago

  • 01 june 2010 , Brazil

  • enjoy!

  • Nice tune :) I've had it in my head for ages now. Strange how he sings 'Gonna beat them all' as apposed to 'Turn the heater on' in Keith's original.

  • At first I never knew this was a cover, my first impression was that it sounded like it could have been on Joy Division's 3rd album, had Ian lived. But still this is just fantastic.

  • I LOVE this song!!! I need to find this again. I always thought he was saying "Gotta beat them off"

  • love it. takes me right back. ML43

  • thanks neil

  • brilliant tune..god this brings back memories

  • Thanks for posting this. I hadn't heard it in a long time, since I had the Peel Sessions CD with this on and unfortunately it now seems I've lost it.

  • My favorite Neworder song. Its a shame they didnt play this more.

  • I fucking love this track!!

  • Excellent Track. I love it

  • One of their best!!

  • Sooo glad this is back on thank you

  • You're welcome, it had to be done!

  • Love this version, New Order back in 1982 really did an imaginative take on this song but not spoilt the emotional quality of the original. Besides, anything that encourages people to check out Keith Hudson's work is fine by me.

  • Totally agree, glad you approve!

  • What a gem!! Not heard this before I'm pretty sure, and I bloody love New Order!!! Thanks :-)

  • No probs, glad you enjoy! Thx

  • i was gonna upload this as soon as i could work out how, oh well fair play...great tune

  • Great minds think alike! Glad you like it! Thx
