Years ago, when I first beat the campaign, then looked up how to unlock more COs, thereby unlocking this mission, I decided I couldn't do it by fair means, so I just T-copter blitzed his HQ. I got a C, but it just about worked. But now after having beat the Advance Campaign, being much better, I'm gonna try this mission again (on normal mode obviously) but with the honest method! So thanks for the guide!
Believe it or not, the 100 Speed limit on Rivals is ridiculously high. 20 Days on NC, 25 on HC. I'm not joking. I looked it up on Gameboy Wars Network. With perfect Power and Technique, NC version's A Rank limit is 29 Days, and HC version's is 36.
Also, wtf? This is the worst looking map ever. It's like they didn't even try. No trees, no mountains, nothing. No shoals either... I mean, sure, they wouldn't be useful, but the map is just ugly without them.
since eagles gonna get a bomber might as well save for a fighter. cover all bomber attacks with the T copters, bombers cant hit copters. get a couple of tanks to fend off the top anti-air units. capturing of hq usually means your power score sux in the end, so try to rout him instead, rush the 2 closest bases once you get the airport. OR u can try rushing the bases and guarding the airport with missiles from across.
They arent human. theyre kinda robot/mech things. This is why they are "built" and cost money to "build" would also explain why they run on gas and also why noone seems to give a crap when they die. Plus i highly doubt theyd have a war for fun if they were human.

that made me last longer than i ever did in this mission because i held up the north and south side of the map and once i had enough support i built med tanks and other stuff it made me last and i almost captured the enemy HQ
another thing because i didnt build any air units their fighters were usless and they stayed on the airport that whole time, which meant that eagle cant use that airport
In any case, I think it's high time to point out about bad moves made throughout your videos. Of course, you're not perfect, but I'm still going to go through with this. Be sure to look through comments in the entire instruction over the next few days.
It is a wonder why Andy and Eagle don't settle their rivalry with a fair fight now that you say something about it. Though maybe Andy got a handicap on purpose. Which would be a surprise, because Eagle is full of pride.
Um...I thought Eagle had the handicap. Notice the 3 GE infantry at the start? They're free to take production properties immediately. We all know that more production properties means more units, which means overpowering numbers. If only one of those 3 infantry were there, then it would be okay-FTA balance, ya know? *sigh* I just criticized a campaign map, didn't I. Oops.
Then again, the player is meant to be disadvantaged on single mode maps. The AI is limited to preprogrammed moves and may not know how to deal with the map. That's why AA Missile Launchers wouldn't be the underpowered pieces of junk that they are in multiplayer, as the player is constantly enough on defense.
I'm thinking you get the extra mission probably because Eagle has Lightning Strike, which in TFB won't be plagued by its high cost because of the high number of units.
The issue of sacrificing troops for a rivalry had been touched upon by fandom quite often. Some go with the simulation scenario.

this is the most difficult mission of them all ...it is very tough to get an A rank ..i've just done that once

since eagles gonna get a bomber might as well save for a fighter. cover all bomber attacks with the T copters, bombers cant hit copters. get a couple of tanks to fend off the top anti-air units. capturing of hq usually means your power score sux in the end, so try to rout him instead, rush the 2 closest bases once you get the airport. so that means if you move and go back and move to anoter spot you loose the gas you went earilier

oh i also learnded that when you use gas it isnt like i move 3 e then i lose 3 gass when i get there to my space you LOSE gas moving there
so if you go back you waisted 3 gas
it made my air forces suffer D:

You only go through it if you had Eagle in TFB. If you didn't, you won't be able to go through the mission at all.
