  • This guy looks like the navigator because he has his arms on the side of the cockpit while they are ascending.

  • Hey, look! its Maverick!

  • "Earth's outer atmosphere!?" This isn't even the altitude at which Boeing 747s normally operate!

I was expecting the Eagle to climb to 90,000 feet or something like that.

  • definitely not the outer atmosphere

  • It's beautiful up there.

  • Hit the red Easy button afterwards... "That was easy"

  • Best job in the World!

Men like this one are elite in every country!

  • That's Tyndall for sure. Hopefully it's one lucky hard working crew Chief getting a ride. Not some nonner back shop working, MPF office junkie, ROTC not in the AF yet newbie/ Hope I hit puberty soon no body. But then again it is the AF so probably one of the above

  • @StickA3031 I hope it was a Marine riding in a nice piece piece of equipment for once but it was a 15 echo then most likely it was the wso.

  • @lweber557 Do marines use the f15?

  • @tenacious645

    I do not think so.

  • @tenacious645 Nope. The USMC uses the f-18, av-88(harrier) and the a-6, that quail lookin bomber type deal. f-15 is all air force. and btw for the discussion of the altitude i think the top altitude for most fighter jets if not all planes is like 40-50,000

  • @Redmilitiageneral That sound like some pretty legit information thanks man

  • Comment removed

  • @Redmilitiageneral You mean the AV-8B Harrier and the EA-6B Prowler

  • yes.. thats what i mean.. lol

  • Wow so many people pointed out that this is not outer atmosphere. Anyone with a little brains and education knows that this is not the earth's outer atmosphere, that description was probably a way of talking or written to attract views.

  • a che altezza si trovava??

  • Ok, coming from a past 15C driver, this was an incentive ride at Tyndall AFB, FL., in an F15D, no WSO, not the pilot, just an incentive ride.

  • He even fucking did the reverse like 5 secs after taking off. In the law of physic and data of the engines, the outer atmosphere is still far away from this guy.

  • take deep breathes..!!!

  • reminds me of just cause 2

  • i want to do that!!!!!

  • Yea looks like Tyndall

  • in 58 secs.....there up there that fast danggggggggggggg...

  • Look Ma, no hands! Cuz I am no fkn Pilot... :-)

  • this is why they dont listen to me on the radios...they are too goddamn busy recording themselves

  • He is WSO not the pilot

  • @romansallai He's just an incentive rider.

  • earths outer atmosphere lol

  • nice vid, but its the weapons officer

  • @sk8thedge Agree...WSO

  • That guy is a passenger.

  • Looks like no more than 10k to me. Thats no outer-atmosphere, nice vid none the less.

As others said, his mask doesnt fit, hes grabbing the oh shit bars, and not even aware or watching for traffic around him. Thats not a pilot.

  • this isnt the pilot.

  • he has the best job in the world, only if he is not married.

  • @kostastaxi why only if he is not married?

  • I believe this is Tyndall AFB in Panama City, Fl

  • He's definitely in the back seat.

  • hmm, definitly not piloting that ac, either an incintive flight on a 16 or is in a t38. tyndalls got 15s

  • That guy is not the driver. Unless he's doing a 'look Ma, no hands' routine...... You can clearly see his arms stretching forward. He's probably holding on to the handlebars in front of him. Nice ride, though. I'd take it anyday

  • Awesome !!!!

  • Looks like the guy in back to me, not the pilot.

  • Lol, he has the best job in the world and he knows it

  • This is hardy the outer atmosphere, they usually climb to 15-18000ft when they do this.

  • I just realized that this video was shot over Eglin AFB in Florida. I have driven by that base several times and always enjoyed seeing the F15s overhead.

  • @swedishvolvo

Actually this is Tyndall AFB located near Panama City Beach, FL, where I did my high altitude training. That was a fun day!

  • I'd say no more than angels 25.

  • Looks like an incentive ride to me...

  • LOL whos the fool that posted this vid and said outer atmosphere. atleast play it safe and say inner lmfao. still retarded non the less. no atmospherical boundry met in this vid. he barely left the troposphere! LOL

  • I love pilots and planes. Just seems like it would be the greatest feeling ever :) You rock man!

  • i bet the man is just backseating and not flying since he does not have his hands on the stick and throttle.

  • I would vomit, shit myself then pass out if i ever did this.

  • nice

  • He's not the pilot, he's the WSO of the Strike Eagle. Still a badass video though.

  • that looks like Tyndall AFB...

  • rock on man rock freakin on!!!!!!!!

  • Nothing says "your job sucks" better than a F15 pilot throwing the horns after a verticle climb.

  • YOU ROCK MAN......YOU ROCK :)

  • bad ass I must say.

  • you guys are bashing him, maybe hes a pilot too, but just wanted to record this time

  • @fcporto7portugal thats not how air force works. you cant choose to be a pilot one day and WSO the next =/

  • . Impresionante! Super!..

  • Sorry to burst your bubble, but the hot shot pilot is sitting in front of this backseater. Look at where his arms are placed. Definitely not the pilot. The F-15E is a two-seater. If he's the pilot, where is his WSO?

  • Idiot, he's not higher than 20,000 ft . Outer atmosphere?

  • Cool video but this guy isn't the pilot, he's the rear. He doesn't have his hand on the stick or the throttle the whole time.

  • troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere, exosphere. It is 50,000 feet to the stratosphere, sorry but an F-15 is not designed to operate at that altitude, Very few planes can even reach the stratosphere. IE the B-52 stratofortress, SR-71, etc. No plane besides the SR-71 has reached the Mesosphere, only Space shuttles, and other space bound craft have reached earth outer atmosphere, the exosphere.

  • @thunder393 F15 ceiling is reported as 65,000 ft so it can certainly get there, 'operate' in any combat sense perhaps less likely. B-52 ceiling is 50,000 ft so contrary to the name it can barely make the stratosphere.

  • @thunder393 the f-15e ceiling is 60,000

  • Nice !!!

  • yeah! nice the vertical climb...how much meters high up?????3000

  • Luckiest Vato in Outerspace!!!

  • That was 18k feet....The most you can get on an incentive flight because they won't let us get an altitude card to go more...When I got mine we were never allowed .9 mach either...kinda blew but I got to Lvl1 over-g on some break turns...lol

  • Some incentive rider, maint or ROTC kid. Not a pilot!

  • too bad,

i thought i was ganna see him g-loc

  • this guy is the RIO, basically riding bitch, but i would still kill to be in that seat

  • SO COOL !!! SO MUCH FUN!!! I DID THIS BEFORE AND THE G's FeEl Amazing!!

  • thats how i get to work lol jk that was fuckin badass

  • omg they climb so fast :D

  • Dude that's sick!

  • Is he flying that with his mind? Cause otherwise aren't you suppose to use your hands...well other than holding a camera.

  • @jungleakajunk he's the wso so he sits in the backseat and operates the radar, electronic warfare, and weapons systems

  • this AINT no atmoshere's limit, this is like 10-15000 feet ASL. still cool video though!

  • That guy is riding in the back seat, not flying.

  • Incentive flight, he has on a MBU-12/P mask. Strike Eagle crews fly with a MBU-20/P. Up until a few years ago we used the 12/Ps for incentives,

  • Based on the size and view of the land, I think he didn't even break 10,000 feet.

  • @erkme73 it looks to low rite?

  • @erkme73 bullshit....its an F15D and hes a combat cameraman...enlisted...not a WSO...not a pilot...sole job to film amazing shit in a multimillion dollar death machine.....AMERICA

  • @rgoodpa Wiki F15D, my friend. Max rate of climb 50k ft/min. Then, watch video again. He's vertical for less than 20 seconds. Hate to tell you that "earth's outer atmosphere" is just a wee bit higher than that. But, beiieve what you will... I fly commercial weekly, and can tell you that the final altitude in this video is well below what jetliners fly (30-40k).

  • @erkme73 garbage...commercial is garbage...bus drivers...g's and airspeed...all that matters. dont spill your coffee bro

  • @rgoodpa Air speed and g's are all that matter. Facts, not so much. Got it. Thanks for sharing.

  • @erkme73 dude you clearly cannot compare any f15 variant to commercial aviation. i dont care what you fly. the f15 has a record of 104-0....deny that shit. FACT

  • @rgoodpa 10k feet looks like 10k feet, whether through the windshield of a commercial 'bus' or the canopy of your "death machine". A year ago, I stated that the view in this video was not the upper atmosphere. You called bullshit. I stated the facts, and you talk about coffee and buses. One day, when you're old enough to get out from under mommy's roof, you'll understand the difference between relevant facts and red herrings. Until then try not to get so emotional.

  • @erkme73 you are clearly misguided....you and your airborne buses can think/say whatever you like. I fly aircraft you can only dream of when you sleep. I do not envy you or your gay tubes of shame. Have a blast. I enjoy dogfighting and drinking to my hearts desire. You will always be inferior. Please recognize this and cease to think you even matter.

  • Reaches earths outer atmosphere in a few short seconds, LMFAO sure considering the space shuttles cant even do that thats pretty remarkable

  • lucky bastard!!!!!!

  • lol... hes not lucky... he trained for this.

  • nice. now go kill terrorists ;)

  • bad ass.!!!!

  • it's an Incentive flight of some SSgt probably, not some hot shot pilot.

The air force gives Incentive flights to airmen who have done a good job(Earning it), or as an incentive to reenlist.

  • That's exactly what it is. No rank on the flight suit is an indicator, too.

  • He makes it to the outer troposphere, but definitely a cool video. Is this Maverick, Goose, or the Iceman ?

  • too bad he's a back seater who has his arms visibly not flying the whole video.

  • hes squinting his eyes so much?

  • at 54 seconds he does that sign!

  • Depends on the weight of the aircraft and the altitude your gauging at to begin with...MSL, barometric pressure, or AGL lol. So many choices, so little time...when your engines are that big and hungry.

  • Not to mention the thrust needed, they did a max takeoff which is about 90° nose up.

  • Ah man, I would kill (not literally) to be able to ride in one of those.

  • He also pass's out momentarily in the begining. Watch his eye's.

  • he did not even go grey

  • Earth's outer atmosphere my ass... ike 14k feet at MOST hahaha fools

  • no.

that is around 10000ft for sure

  • No camwizardoz... I did mean 4000... but I am willing to correct that figure to a much more calculated one. Nothing greater than 8000 feet. The F-15 can execute a max performance takeoff to a height of 30,000 ft in about 60 seconds. He started the max performance @ 0:10 and rolled out @ 0:24 secs... 14 seconds @ 500 ft per second, ... do the math. And he is definitely not the one flying. His arms never move until he moves the camera... but wow... that must be so much fun!

  • gr8 video but I do not think he's the one flying the plane and... thats not the earth's outer atmosphere... thats like 4000 ft max

  • Comment removed

  • Of course he's not flying the plane. His arms are elevated by the hud. You can tell he's holding a camera.

  • Cool vid but I dont think its the outer atmosphere, I went higher than that when I had all thoes helium balloons tied to my lawnchair!!!

  • Living the life.

  • Best. Job. Ever.

  • Earth's outer atmosphere? huh i went sky diving higher than that.

  • i would love to fly one of those

  • how do you know its F-15E Eagle?

  • no other pane can climb that high, that fast :D

  • Nice!!!

  • He has the best job in the world.

  • I would give almost anything to even settle for a WSO position in a F-18F or F-15E. Anything...

  • You and me both.

  • the pay stinks. he'll be driving a beat up jap car when he gets out and have 2 ugly kids from his trailer park trash wife he picked up off base.

  • Who gives a shit about his pay. Where else can you fly a multimillion dollar fighter jet and even get paid to do it! Heck you don't even have to pay for ammo. An F-15 pilot have the best jobs in the world regardless of pay.

  • Bombing people and killing childs

  • Call me sick but if they let me fly an F-15 for a years I would not have a problem with dropping bombs in a war zone.

  • yes you dumb liberal. we are killing childs.

  • Nice engrish like a somebooodyyy

  • no the guy in the front has the best job hahaha

  • hes only about 18-23000 ft

  • this ain't no outer atmosphere

  • Bullshit its the outer atmosphere - even the space shuttle takes a few minutes to get there and it accelerates MUCH harder!

  • Yes, but the plane is much lighter! =P...

  • So? The space shuttle rocket has 44 million horsepower - the jet maybe 40 thousand horsepower. The space shuttle accelerates faster than a jet.

  • He's at the top of the troposphere.

  • vomit and poop!!!!!!!!!

  • For you idiots who think that he's filming yourself and flying at the same time, HE AINT. He is in the backseat of the F-15B,D or E.

  • He didn't go to the earths atmosphere, he's at cruising altitute, what's called cruiser reach.

  • i wanted to be a fighter pilot...sigh

  • why arent you?

  • it was too difficult to become a fighter pilot, i have glasses, and the air force was kicking people out because there was a lot of people in the air force...so i went back to the idea of joining the army...wich i am right now

  • Because it's not easy to be qualtified for it. Believe me.

  • genuinly awesome

  • omg that looks so fkn awesome...

  • To be honost, I could care less if that was fake, that was really cool and i would not mind doing that lol

  • i would b scared shitless, i hate heights

  • WTF THERE IS NO 11 MIN

  • he meant 0:11 and u can see the shadow of the plane on his chest...

  • Lmao, "Rock On!" *Boom*

  • ok its real

  • How the heck is it fake ? Look at 11:00 you can see the real shadows (nose shadow right ? ) Anyway anything is possible so if u see something that u see rarely doesn't mean it's fake also if it's faked they did a good job , the shadows act as they should and it looks like the jet is up for sure.

  • Comment removed

  • your not very observent are you?

  • its a training jet for all u people that think da guy is actually flying it

  • Lol this guy isn't flying the jet. No way would U.S. let a pilot take a jet up that quickly while filming himself with a hand cam lol.

    '

But still cool video, couldnt really see much besides dudes face, but whatever.

  • who said he was flying? They have 2 seater jets

  • Good call, this was a viking departure [staight up] out of Eglin AFB in north Florida. Probably an F-15 Strike Eagle.

  • Someone below me asked if he was flying.

  • wow amazing, lucky guy

  • lavon9305 your an idiot.... No more posting comments for you.

  • awesome, i wanna fly F22s and F35s :)

  • this made me want to too

  • i can do the same u bitches

  • You really suck at chain-comments.

  • thought it said crash cam

    i got exited...

  • haha so did i

  • COOL dude great that would be fun

  • This guy is NOT flying. He must be in a f-15 trainer( two-seater)You can see his arms extended holding the cam.Any "real" pilot's attention would be clearly & visibally focused on every parameter of that aircraft, especially on takeoff. You ain't gettin' ant fart jokes past this flyboy.
