  • People care more about female deaths. People care more about females in general. It is just sad that women get special treatment in all societal life. It is even more sad that women and some men seem to think that it is men getting special treatment.

  • THE CO-PILOT LANDED THE HELICOPTER

    NOT HER

  • ......."They were not the one taking offensive actions against the enemy. This is NOT to diminish the role of women in the military and their contribution, but the data of the media are slanted in such a way to promote the euphonious idea that our female soldiers are actually engaged in combat roles. The media is full of such accounts which focus on the emotional sob story aspect and the tragic losses of females military personnel--which the number vary between 71 and 102.

  • .....than females. It's almost impossible to sift through the mass media accounts of "WOMEN-IN-COMBAT" and get true picture of what is really happening in our Armed Force. But I served my country (Persian Gulf conflict, 2nd Brigade, 1st Calvary Division, Feb. 1991) and I can tell you that I don't want a woman next to me in real combat. I had two first cusins in Iraq--one was killed and the other lost one arm from the shoulder. He said: "Women were not directly engaged in combat operations."

  • .....the Center for Military Readiness, accused the Army with covertly violating its collocation rule and assigning women to units that support front-line troops. In 2004, in response to a petition Donelley sent to President Bush and the Pentagon, Army Secretary Francis Harvey ordered a systematic review of Army regulations; and under preasure asserted that: "current policies keeping women out of combat and collocated units will stand." Hence the disparity of more males soldiers killed......

  • ....their loss is felt and diserve recognition. But here's a disturbing dilemma, which contradicts the feminist uproar for "equality." Because of these females fatalities, the military has been charged with: "Failing to adequately protect its female soldiers and uphold the military rules meant to minimize women's risks." Apparently the risk of male soldiers--who do the most fighting and dying--aren't as important as the females. Elaine Donnelley, president of the CMR, or....

  • @pedrom41 Where did you get the quote "Failing to adequately protect its female soldiers and uphold the military rules meant to minimize women's risks." I am eager to get my hands on this document.

  • ....I have a mother, three sisters (one of them in the military), I have lots of unts, and I love each and everyone of them. What I am is anti fabricated lies or simple truth exagerated to suite spaecial interest group's agenda. Out of 4,000+ troops killed in Iraq only 71 of them were females. And out of those 71 fatalities, 33 or so have been among female nurses and support staff. Of course, their death are not to be dismissed as trivial or of less importance. Even if just one life lost.....

  • I was in the military, and Isaw women training and I didn't see anything to be impressed. What I saw, though, was a lot of [accommodation] to make up for the difference that exists between men and women which in this "political correctness" charged atmostphere is taboo to talk about. I mean, from how far a woman can throw a grenade to how much weight they can lift, to how fast they can run, how high they can jump, etc, etc. No, I'm not anti women, or "chauvenist." I'm a father of trhee girls...

  • The feminist movement and their male suporters are desperate to create "HEROINES" even if they have to exagerate things, alter statistics, blow trivialities out of proportion, or outright lie. This is not to imply that there hasn't been any. Tme changes, technology changes, and so does the way we fight "wars" today. How women would have performed in Vietnam front line combat will remain a mistery. I could take a guess but I'm not goint to. The comments I'm making are controversial enough......

  • .....a fight betwee Mike Tyson and Urkel could be called a "match." The Civil War was a war. The Independence War was a war. WW1 was a war. WW2 was a war. Corea war was a war. Vietnam war was a war. The so-called "war" in Iraq was one side ass-whooping. If you want to see real "combat war" you need to watch old videos of the wars mentioned above. and you have to ask yourself how many women would have had the nerves, endurance, and stamina to fight that type of war for such long period of time.

  • If we're fighting an anemy that doesn't have much of what could be consider an "Army"--spaecially an army that's compelled but not willing to fight, nor do they have the weapons to match ours as it was the case with Iraq--then it really makes no diffence to allow women in "combat", if that's what they wish to call it. So before we go out of our way to create a big utopia splah about "WOMEN IN COMBAT," there's some honest reality to consider. Iraq "war" was not much of a war any more that.....

  • I so sick of this Jessica Lynch Rambo bullshit feminism crap. Her co-pilot landed it not her, get your facts straight. She should have been home being a mother to children and a wife to a man. God doesn't want women been blown up in brutal wars. Wars are for men, men are warriors and leaders. Men do not want or need women in combat, men are programed from birth to protect women.Women stop listening to feminist garbage about how you are just as strong and just as good as men in wars, you are not

  • @Allanlegacy43 are you a troll or just an embarrassment to humanity?

  • @Allanlegacy43

Google Lavena Johnson to see just how protective men are.

  • how can you be against women in combat knowing what this amazing woman did?! clearly women can handle it!

  • I just love a woman in uniform

  • Major Tammy Duckworth somehow managed to safely land her Blackhawk helicopter full of soldiers AFTER having both of her legs blown off along with most of her right arm as the result of a direct hit in the cockpit by a rocket propelled grenade. Every army could use a few more "weaklings" like her. The mere thought of his own shadow makes "robgarcia4" pisses his pants...

  • Her co-pilot landed the bird jackass

  • good video. I liked it. She is truly a hero.

  • IF America ever gets a draft, EVERYONE SHOULD GO. EVERYONE.

The elites, the middle class and the poor. NO ONE would be able to duck service - no more draft dodging and BULLSHIT AIR NATIONAL GUARDSMEN IN TEXAS.

Women deserve to fight for America just like anyone else. But, they should not be knowingly put in situations where they might be captured and sexualy abused.

  • Women should not be in combat. It weakens our military.

  • to "robgarcia4": tell that to tammy duckworth, who piloted that chopper down with no fucking legs so her buddies wouldn't die. tell me how exactly that is "weak"?

  • Well, it never said she piloted it down with no legs lol. She likely crashed. But still, what a story. Nothing but respect for her.

  • @djshiva I thought the co pilot landed the bird.

  • Being a war amputee sure didn't stop the Republican smear machine from taking care of Max Cleeland!
