Sanga has done better stumping than even this amazing one. When he dived to the side, picked the ball up and threw it at the stumps whilst he was flying in air. And he was flying in the opposite direction of throwing the ball.

This was against Australia in the VB series and the batsman was Maher.

Sanga is the best wicketkeeper in the world at the moment. He shared it with Gilly whilst Gilly was still playing.

Dhoni is not in the same league.

Pfft, most wikkies couldn't do that standing up to a medium pacer. You are right he's not a pure wicket keeper, because he is also an exceptional batsmen. The best pure wicket keeper playing international cricket is Prasanna Jayawardena from the same country. But the best ODI keeper by some margin is Sangakarra. McCullum is not as good a keeper, Gilchrist was probably in the same league. Dhoni and Boucher? oh dear! that's a joke right?

To Sangakkara? Boucher was good at some point in the past, but he has been average for a long time now. McCallum is not bad, but he is no where near the standards of Sangakkara as a keeper. Boucher's batting is weaker than his keeping, though he is mentally tough, which makes up for a lack of pure talent.

Sangakkara is excellent standing up to spinners however I would rate McCullum a better allround keeper, especially when it comes to taking difficult catches. No doubt Sangakkara is the better batsman though.

I remember the way Boucher kept wickets when murali was bowling in super test series. He missed 3 or 4 chances out of murali. Talent of a wicket keeper is tested when it comes to wicket keeping for top spinners.

Taking a ball on the offside and whipping the bails off is about the easiest thing to do as a keeper. Standing up to Vaas is pretty difficult but not when he's bowling the ball straight to you. If you want to see the best stumping off a fast bowler ever - look up Jack Russell standing up to Gladstone Small. The bowlers are about the same pace, but Jack takes the ball down the legside and whip the bails off. That's class wicket-keeping.

Is it as amazing as you claim in your description, probably not, Dinesh Karthik's stumping of Michael Vaughn was easily a better bit of keeping then this stock reaction to a foot maybe leaving the crease, yes it is fast but how many times a match does the average keeper whip the bails off, most of them are pretty quick.
