the aurora unit is most likely a clone of the mother brain (not a clone as in got some DNA for MB and made an auroa), becase the chozo created the mother brain way before the metroid series, and in the vid it says that scientist created the first aurora 20 years ago (i doubt samus fougth MB when she was 3-9) it says it at aorund ":28".........so in actuallity auroras are "clones" of mother brain, and not the other way around.
When the plasma beam is selected the cannon stretches out foward. The way the cannon is configured in this video is the same way it is when the ice and dark beams were selected, where the top of the cannon opens up vertically.
i know but doesnt it look like if she had the plasma beam........usually the arm cannon i closed when using the power beam (pime 1 & 2, and when using a differen beam it opens.....
This game will so completely own. Looks just great. I just downloaded Bioshock demo. Cool as shit. But Bioshock will have to wait. It is certaintly no Metroid Corruption. Rapture is a pimple on Samus's ass.

What beam was equiped in that spiderball video? I remember they said something about the beams being stacked, so I assume there will be no more cycling through beams, so I guess the arm cannon just stays in that beam's position until the next beam is aquired? What do you guys think?
I think that the Galactic Federation got blueprints of the Mother Brain after the people of K2L met the Chozo and they based the Aurora Units off of the blueprints of Mother Brain

The way I understand it is the Chozo didnt create Mother Brain. It was hinted at, but never clarified (in Zero Mission/Super).
