James Newton Howard - a 7 time Oscar nominee for Best Original Score - he scores the most appropriate, original,complex and beautiful film music in the business. Lets all give him the credit he deserves. The Academy should give him a f*kin Oscar! : )

I am mesmerized by this music. I am haunted by it's feelings, and by the violin, and the piano... There is a magic in the way the piano and the violin creates such music... And I cannot stop loving that melody, the 0:01 - 2:05 melody.

It rips my soul in a dear way... Can't explain with words...

In undergrad I outed myself as a Disney fan. A friend was listening to this song and I mistook it for the opening in Beauty and the Beast. Ugh--I love mysterious music. I wish "mysterious" were a genre so I'd have an easier time finding selections like this, stuff by Danny Elfman, stuff by Philip Glass, etc.
