I wish they showed the same version she sang in episode 23 The Jem Jam. I how I first heard the song. Both are wonderful though, I just like the pictures in the first one better.
@goblinshuffle she is describing what she was told about her father by her mother, obviously before her mother died. She was told that her father was tall, white, and with red hair. BaNee is half Vietnamese, if I remember correctly, but it's been a number of years since I've seen the episode where it gives that information. Hope that helps.
While I love this song, I can notice several points that COULD have been much better. It is still good and I guess I can't really hold it back from not being better.
Also I think the first music video for this song was actually much better by a huge margin then this one.
I think that ba nee should be lucky, because she's not the only one, there's a dozon of children who don't have a father. so i think she should consider herself lucky.
Ow geweldig!! Kwam Jem and The Holograms toevallig tegen, tot mn grote vreugde :-) Keek er "vroegah"natuurlijk altijd naar!! En dit was één van mn favo-liedjes!!! Oh..to be young again ;-)
This is a beautiful song! It's always so touching -- it's a serious song. I think Ba Nee was a very smart little girl to figure out a good father's character, and to have a gut instinct to the end about her father being alive.
Yeah, Ari Gold. Ironically he became a gay singer, hmm. He seems to be a pretty cool guy though, I chatted with him about 4 years ago before he was well known.
So racist. 0:53 1:08

@Evenstar8723 Technically Laura wasn't a Starlight girl, she just stayed at the starlight mansion for a bit.
Though by far "Alone Again" holds up as one of the best songs in the entire series.

Shes dreams of white men being her father. Very dark undertones- like crying after
'a father should be tall and strong with laughter in his eyes' whats that all about???
did anyone else notice the chinese symbols at 1:08 ????
