And do u have any idea wat

    It might be....

  • I wish Japanese scientists would release what they filmed down there. They estimated what ever they filmed to be 60 meters long. Has anyone heard anything?

  • i heard that rebecca black is making a song about this trench...

  • Apparently if you were at the bottom the water pressure would feel like having 50 jumbo jets piled on top of you!

  • i heard justin bieber wants to go down there take pictures

  • @UpliftingMelodies We should all contribute for a snorkel and flippers for him!

  • @UpliftingMelodies Who is justin biber

  • yea its some 11 kilometers deep, wow

  • So in 4,000,000 years, another continent will be swallowed and those on that continent will be doomed!!!

Oh wait, we'll be doomed long before that anyway.

  • someone actually went to the bottom ? that's 36000 feet??? bullshit he may have got to the bottom first stage.. but there is a trench.... that goes deeper no one has ever hit the bottom it's to deep

  • You're such a clow acting like a know-it-all noob all the time and often you are totally wrong, like in this case.

The bottom was reached in 1960 with the Trieste, the Kaiko in 1995 and the Nereus in 2009. So next time little boy...shut up and do some reasearch first before you try to correct others...sigh...noob

  • did you read my other comments yet silly little boy?

whos the clown/n00b who keeps commetning? muahahah

i got nothing but time mr

  • uhm, those are robots, what he meant was no human has ever gone down there, the pressure would make a person explode from the inside out because of all of the nitrogen building up as you go farther down. though, robots have gone down there before but they just haven't hit the VERY bottom, for they will explode under that pressure but they can go down there just a couple hundred feet farther than we can.

  • @robomaniac8 u mean implode

  • Yes, Captain Douche bag.

  • @GHxx1 nerd

  • I went to The Mariana Trench using Google earth. And just on that 3-D simulation it was scary going down there!!

  • ya holy shit 8 tons per square inch!

lets say air pressing on us was 8 tons per square inch. you would instantly drop to the size of an ant. then die. obviously.

  • that pressure could crush a tank in under a second

  • you'd bet your bottom dollar it would.

  • @Hibbski95 no it cant... Its only water.

  • @Seigu007 yes it can. its 16,000 pounds psi

  • @WalrusLover89 If whales can do it, I can do it. Its all in your mind.

  • @Seigu007 Dude, not trying to call you dumb but the deeper you go the more pressure.. It's like saying all of the water above you and beside you is pressing against you.. For example if you go to a pool the deeper you go you ears to start to pop. The reason for that being is the pressure is increasing.. Not sure, what grade you are in or how old you are but you should have learned this through school if not then you will learn it..

  • @Hibbski95 No it couldn't

  • Comment removed

  • @mrfourtysevenman but the deepest part of the mariana trench is 16,000 pounds per square inch...that means your not even 0.0000000000000000000000001 lbs and would die in 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 seconds =)

  • @hamoan66boi

    SMALL NUMBERS! YAY

  • wow, thats pretty interesting. so eventually the entire pacific plate will be sucked into the trench. where it will go though? will it eventually pop back out and create a huge mountain range???

  • a better question is, as this does happen... what's going to happen to the things that live on it?

  • From the time the earth emerges to the time it gets swallowed again takes about 170 million years. Enough time to get out of the way :)

  • Just call it one big sea food BBQ
