Cool concept but, from what I can find most of these paints react at about 90F or so. Maybe that can be adjusted with additives when mixing. If not, you would rarely see the base color if you live in a hot climate area until winter. Like someone below said once the engine got hot the area around it would react well in cold climates and I imagine the effect would look sweet if planned out.
