Well, that actually happens every moment you play the game. One model is actual Samus moving around the environment, which you never see in biped mode outside of RT "cutscenes," and the other is a floating gun.

Something like this happened to a friend of mine once. It was right after the AU announces the code red thing. He looked over at one of the GF people, and he was normal; he looked at the other and it had 2 torsos and only one set of legs. One torso was sitting relaxed, while the other was frantically pressing buttons...it was WIERD.

The grapple voltage cutscene screws up the elevator cutscene. Since that happens, the game thinks you are still riding the elevator to the top. And since the game thinks you are still riding the elevator to the top, you can then quickly move and see the model of Samus that is on the elevator.

I hated when you had to get the energy cell there because when the steambots appeared I killed them but then i had to wait for a long time until Steamlord returned.

if you have the x-ray visor you can find the steamloard easly and get a quick kill on him ;o

You get X-ray after you battle staemlord.

Yeah. It did. The door opened right when the elevator was sealing up.

Well that's the 2nd glitch I know of involving that elevator now -- the ability to spawn duplicate boost balls is the other :) Too bad you can't get them though :(
