would anyone here recommend this gun, i currently have the jg m4a1 aeg and it's lasted 2 years of constant use and im quite pleased with it. however i really need a gas blowback on the cheap so that i can play in the rain. people tell me that the agm sucks.

@varun009 AGM is really bad. Gas leaks from the mags, O-rings are cracked and dry when you get the gun which causes most of the problems. The Well model probably would be a better option, they've updated their system from the older model and has upped from JG's model.

Im not a gun pro, so excuse me for being "a noob" but what is the difference between the M4 and the M4 carbine??? I thought they were the same thing. And what airsoft m4 should i search that would replicate the REGULAR M4 and not the carbine one?????//

@POPJack1717 the M4 is a a carbine version of the M16, so its the M4 Carbine. And it depends what quality (basically the price) you want for true realism. Higher end GBBRs and AEGs have full metal and harder kick. ( Ex. Tokyo Marui, We-Tech, Western Arms, etc,)

This is a JG, the AGM comes with a metal body and the internals arent as good, these are amazing little guns, my buddy has one and has put maybe 100 of parts into it and it feels great.

All out of the box GBBRs are fairly slow, this is typical as they dont have strong spring sets but that is an easy and fairly cheap fix.

they should make a GBB conversion for AEG's. like make it hane a new lower receiver, then include the bolt, buffer tube, trigger group and recoil spring. maybe even compatible with AEG grips. i'd totally buy one.

@c2thedub14 madbull did make a co2 gearbox for the aeg bodies, its not exactly like what your wanting but it worked great and its a drop it piece just like any ordinary gearbox so its easy to install and it wasn't terribly expensive.

JG believe it or not is cheaper and more reliable than the AGM version. Its like $40 less and better than AGM.

However, the AGM comes with a metal body, something the JG lacks. Both guns arent up to WA in terms of internals, however parts are now EXTREMELY cheap so the shortcomings of the AGM are easily made up for.

@oHaiinexD Actually the newer VFC M4A1 Gas Blowback rifle is much better than the JG or the AGM. Full metal and comes stock with removable rear sight and has complete RIS rails.

@oHaiinexD eHobbyAsia sells the version of M4A1 in the video for 103 dollars. AGM rifles always have a problem with them, so I would recommend the JG.

@oHaiinexD In reality the Well and the JG are equal besides a few minor manufacturing adjustments. The Well does function a bit better mechanically than the JG being that JG is just a clone of the Well. Price wise I personally would buy the JG only because I know how to fix it if something malfunctions. My first GBB rifle was the Well M4A1, which I bought 3 years ago. It still functions properly and nothing has malfunctioned. To answer your previous question, JG doesn't sell after-market parts.

well, you can try cleaning the trigger assy, there are online sources on how to.

its the same as real steel assy, maybe minutely different, but essentially very the same.

WA Gbbr became illegal(in some states) when some one proved it can be used as a lower for real AR's. no joke.

Its plastic so it won't have any problems getting through customs. A lot of metal bodied GBBs are getting seized due to fear that they will be made into real working firearms.

ah i see, let's hope they realize airsoft guns can't be modded to real firearms. there was a sniper that could be converted into a .22 but they destroyed most of them i think a long time ago. only 70? really cheap! good for a beginner to GBBs definitely

Yeah hopefully. And yes its awesome I'm gettin mine this week :D cant wait. Its better than the AGM. The JG's mags are like 300g lighter than the AGM, the bolt face is metal, and so much more. If you want a good starter GBBR, the JG is definitely the way to go.

that's good, the AGM mags are like a ton so carrying those around the field can't be fun. make sure to make a review on it when you get it, i'll be waiting haha. I'm sorta in between this and the WE SCAR, the SCAR is more expensive but it has a lot of features

Yeah I'll make sure to do a review since there aren't any out there yet. I've heard nothing but great things about the WE SCAR. The only thing bad about it is there isn't as many upgrade parts for it.....
