  • Great song!

  • I like Mel role in Bandit goes country!!

    It is worth seeing!!

  • I definitely like it! It brings back memories of when I lived in Texas, San Antonio to be exact. And I must remind one of your critics some of the Texas Ten Commandments:

Thou shalt remember the Alamo and keep it holy.

Thou shalt not say the name of Texas in vain.

Thou shalt honor the Texas flag.

And the most important of all:

Thou shalt not mess with Texas!

  • I enjoyed the song and the slides. Thanks for sharing. BTW: do you have your name on the back of your belt?

  • Well thanks Im glad you liked it, and I yah I do... haha why?

  • What if I asked you if you like to cruise in your daddy's pickup truck?

  • Ok now thats from the song redneck girl by the bellamy brothers, and yes I love trucks.

  • Im sorry you think that, but I'm form Texas and proud of it too! I like it and thats all that matters, I respect your Opinion and I gave you mine bottem line.

  • Hey thanks man, sure do appreciate it... check out my "It's alright to be a redneck" by alan jackson, You may like it!?!

  • Your welcome... I will.

  • my mom used to play this song like every day when me & my ex broke up. she said it reminded her of him....

  • As for the Texas thing... It's big and takes a long time to get across... And I'm guessing It felt like a long time for him. You'd have to ask Mel. But that's my guess.

  • Good lord... How come I can't find this song for download... (not even on iTunes - not Mel's version anyways) kinda stinks.

  • Have you tryed lookin at Mel's cd's? It might be there.....

  • What does "walk across my heart like it was texas?" why not hawaii for instance why texas? Why?

  • because TX is a big fucking state!!!!

  • lol but alaska is bigger than tx why not use alaska instead?

  • Because Texas is Kickass!)ok I'll give you a real anwser) you kno its sorta like a Cowboy state... I mean think about Westerns are more associated with Texas Then Alaska... and there are more country singers from Texas then they are from alaska.... and plus it jus sounds better!

  • You are wrong bud, most country singers are from nashville, including bill engval larry the cable guy and that one guy (I forgot his name) the tater tot guy. Ah..what's his name?

  • Hey man... I didn't mean that Texas is the only place country singers are from I jus stated that more country singers are from Texas then Alaska... like Waylon, Willie, George, Lefty Frizzel, buck Owens, jus the few of many! and those great performers you jus named are comedians altho they do sing some... and the tatertot guy is "Ron White"

  • Of course you are right those guys are just comedians not country music singers!!

  • wtf???? comedians!!

  • good song

  • Yupp sure is...

  • My theme song? LOL ... But "I" care.

  • Jas-Coca-Cola Cowboy

  • sounds like me lol
