BRAVO!!!! I thought myself a "true" Vivien Leigh fan but I had never even known about this. Thank you for posting this, guess its true, the ONE thing you know is that you don't know ANYTHING.
@StarsHollowCitizen, you can find information about the plat in te wikipedia page about noel coward's play private lives. you can also find the play on you tube, different cast though. (i'm sorry, i wanted to post the links for you too, but i got an error mssage.
I think her voice is more beautiful when she speaks 'american' as in GWTW and Streetcar. Maybe because it slowed down her cadence and allowed the smoothness and musicality to show itself to the ear, so to speak. She was just a breathtaking beauty and raw actress with all the fascination in the world. I dont think her talents meshed as well with the more formal british productions. I don't care if people think I'm dumb to say so.
Fantastic radio show! I could listen to these two all day. If they had shows like this with stars of this calibre today, I'd totally listen to the radio more :)
The Royal London School of what? What is the word that they keep saying around 1:15 min?? i don't understand it :( the recording is wonderful! the magic of Viv and Larry :)
lmao this shit is hilarious! Both are amazing actors, luv them!

i can't believe that no one's brought up the fact that what they are actually doing here is noel Coward's play Private Lives.

V:You're tight, that's what's wrong with you.
L: Tight! I had three small liqueur glasses of brandy all the evening, a child of 2 can't get drunk on that!
V: On the contrary, a child of 2 can get roaring drunk on a ? glass of brandy.
