This battles not that hard... you just actually have to ATTACK cless, not run around tempesting away, doing only rising phoenix and demonic chaos. He just makes it look hard.
I cant get even close to this. On my first play through, I dumped Reid as soon as I could, then Continued the whole game with Farah. I dont even know how to use Reid or his artes.
Aw, too bad you didn't fight sekundes yet. The Derris Emblem increases accuracy, which would've helped with Cless' ridiculus evade. And you didn't use the rising phoenix extension either!
by the way if he uses ordinary attacks this is where trust and demon hammers techniques works best or if you want to evade just tempest, if he uses sonic blade omega tempest or sonic tech, by the way the tip about the spiral destruction what i mean is to use spiral attack (the jpanese name is senkuureppa which is the original name for cless spiral detruction) or you can jst use demon hammers

@DSLegacy9 hunt those starfish for ages since they have 5% drop rate for them, or you can get a lot of Jini in Jini and buy them at the auction house.
so just practise auctioning for a while and you'll get well over 300k Jini

Cless has 90% resistance to every element, and I have a strong feeling that all so called "non-elemental" attacks are all actually "elemental-elemental" (maxwell element), if that makes sense. That's why you're doing so low damage on them.

They named the PS1 English version of Tales of Eternia "Tales of Destiny II" because they couldn't use Eternia. Don't get mixed up with the Japan-only PS2 game, "Tales of Destiny 2".
The Cameo battle is a piece of cake. Just spam Rising and Burning Phoenix till Arche dies, then use Sonic Chaos to take down Cless. All his attacks are really easy to dodge, anyway.
Actually, "Cress" is correct if you want to be technical. He and Mint are named after herbs (Cress is a herb, Mint is a herb), so it makes sense.
If you watch the ToP anime, they pronounce "Klarth" like "Claus".
I prefer Cless and Klarth, but Cress and Claus are correct translations. Kind of like how Collet is the REAL name of the Chosen in ToS, but she was translated as Colette to make more sense.
