Guys, for those of you who think Sonic is still fast in the Europe version, he isn't. The video needs to have the same hertz as the audio does, because if it weren't the same, it would be out of sync. Like I said, Sonic isn't as fast as he is in the USA/JAP version.

EVERYONE WHO IS ASKING WHY ITS SLOWER

The Eupoean versions are slower because NTSC (American) consoles, run at 60 FPS and PAL (European) Consoles run at 50 FPS, thus the music has to be slowed down to match whats happening on screen

@thekingofabridged actually, it was just TV standards. 50hz vs 60hz. The game code wasn't updated to run faster to compensate for the lower refresh rate, to which to game's animation was locked.

America and Europe are different in many ways. America's systems was worked on way more than Europe's. So it performs faster like a game with no lag. But Europe? Too bad they don't play much. It's slower but your given more time in drowning situations. It also means Sonic is slower and everything else.

@DannyEastes They didn't slow it down, it actually comes from the system. Back then, games were slightly slower because the European standard, PAL, runs at 50hz instead of the 60hz of NTSC.
