I remember when pullups came out thinking how toddlers born in the early 90s had it so easy while people in my day (children of the late 80s and 90s) had to switch from diapers right to regular underwear. I haven't seen many of these commercials in years, so it brought back a lot of good memories.
I miss those Polaroid Instant Cameras!! The 90's were cool, but the 80's were awesome. Great music, awesome family TV shows, kids had more manners and respect and you went outside and played with your friends and used your imagination. Today, kids just sit inside, play video games, gain weight, boss their parents around and threaten to call the cops on any adult that reprimands or grounds them.
@Idoljunky32 The 80s and early 90s were a great time for me too, great TV shows, kids played outside from dawn till dark, video games were something I only played sometimes (loved Atari and Nintendo, though), awesome Saturday Morning Cartoons, PBS before it became lame (remember Square One, 321 Contact, pre-1993 Sesame Street, Electric Company, Carmen Sandiego, and Mr Rogers?). I remember those Polaroid cameras, my one set of grandparents always took my picture every time I visited them.
I agree with most of the people on here that the 90s were awesome, but the 80s were better for television, because they actually had good educational shows. My favorites by far were Kidbits and Mr. Wizard (they did really fascinating and safe science experiments kids could do at home with ordinary household materials. Nowadays, the goddamn liberals have taken over television, and made it more "politically correct", and it really pisses me off. I say we take every liberal in office, put them
I was born in 1992. I would enjoy those times (the "nineties") if I was born like around the mid-to-late 1980s. The bad news is that a lot of tragedies have been happening, as 9/11. Iraq, Katrina, the recession, Afghanistan, etc. I wish there were much better news to start the millennium we are now in.

You guys are twerps!!!! The 90s sucked for me!!!!! I married a guy in the early 90s, and I am still married to him! He is WONDERFUL, but the 90s were NOT all that!!!!
Yep, I remember all those commercials. Unfortunately in that part of 1991 I was going through a lot of personal bullshit, but hey I remember all those commercials. How many of you wish you were born earlier then when you were?
God, I miss the nineties.... I was born in 1991. I wish I had been born in the mid eighties so Icould have enjoyed them more. :( F*ck the new millenium, the music sucks, the kids are more annoying as hell, and it's brought us nothing but tragedies. 9/11, Iraq, Katrina, the list goes on...
@PunkRockJunkie101 But then again, there was the original WTC bombing, WACO, Ruby Ridge, the OJ Trial, Hurricane Andrew, the sex scandals with Clinton, the original Gulf War, Columbine, the Oklahoma City Bombing, and so on. Not saying the 90s weren't great, I have a lot of fond memories as a kid and then a teen in the 90s, but every decade has its ups and downs.
Yes I loved the mid 80s and early 90s too lol! What a great time to be a child. I remember al the retro/classic commercials. Circuit City, The Energizer Bunnie, and the classic shows: Salute Your Shorts, Legends of The Hidden Temple. I remember it!
I remember that pull ups commercial. I was five or six when I saw it. I also remember the battery commercial. My dad got the beginning of it on tape when he was recording Winnie the Pooh Christmas.
I was glad to experience the pre-Internet world for several years of my childhood. 1988-mid 1995 will always be a special time for me. I wish I was born about 20 years earlier so that the Internet wouldn't take over until I was about 30. People are TOO ABSTRACT with their English these days, and those who aren't are too politically correct!
The Duracell batteries that came with a built-in Power Tester were such a pain. You know, the ones where you had to press the battery on each end to make the tester work? Those things made my fingers hurt. And that Pull-Ups song has been in my head for years.
The "What is Vibrance" Commercial was a Helene Curtis Shampoo. I think there was more than one commercial for the product. The first one I saw opened with a longer-haired woman in a stable and then horseback riding. It goes on to show different women in different activities. Does anyone have this and, if so, could they post it?
I remember those Duracell battery testers on the packages! When I was a little kid and I'd get electronic toys for Christmas, the toys always came with Duracell batteries that had the "Copper-Top tester". LMFAO
