Hi guys i have a question i dont want to sound mean anything like that but i wanna learn about sign language so my question is is sign language like the words are they in a different order when you say sentences or is it like english only as signs?
@baileyxox100 ASL is a language of its own distinct language, apart from English. It's grammar and sentence structure are different and the signs don't match one-to-one with English. ASL conveys the concepts expressed, rather than translating the English directly. Hope that helps. :)

@1QTCanuk it's the sign for "champion", like you make me feel at the top... but it's more part of an entire concept she is doing moving from one sign to another, so it doesn't make as much sense out of the context :) hope that helps

As usual, exceptional. I would like to let you know that you are not a "songsigner" as Captain Valor states. Not that it's a bad thing to be, but you are far above that. The reason people love you interpretations is because they are just that. They are not "signed" songs, the are INTERPRETED songs.
Ok around :20 it looks like falling out of a tree but ur using it like fall in love. I've seen it before on ewittenborg's videos but I have never seen it out in the community and I was hoping u could shed some light on it for me. Very acceptable I'm assuming? Also around 2:30 the 25 hs moving opposite on your torso. I can never come up with the English for it so I never try to use it bc I'm not 100% on the meaning. - great work!

@fromthehell100 The stuttering in this song is not the speech impediment. It refers to the way you feel nervous or excited when you're around that special crush and you can't think straight. I'm pretty sure deaf people can relate to that.

@therealgoober It represents the sun going up and down... staying awake... can't sleep...it's kinda one of those signs that doesn't have an 1:1 English equivalent that I know of :)

Question: the sign at :29-:30, THINK, followed by the C-classifiers... I sort of get what it means by the context and because you're pretty clear in your signing, but can you explain this sign so I don't have any doubt? I've not seen it before. Thanks! =]

@therealgoober It represents the sun going up and down... staying awake... can't sleep...it's kinda one of those signs that doesn't have an 1:1 English equivalent that I know of :)
