Overdubbed vocals suck! Check out at 1:34 when he says "Louder!" and is nowhere near the mic. Screw that, I'd rather have a true live performance, warts n all.

That having been said, Dave is a godly axemaster, I got to see him twice in '86 and he totally killed. I wish they were still doing thrash, but oh well. Saw them again last year, my first time in 21 years - The attitude is different, but he's still 100% talent.

Uh, he's right by the mic when he says that. He starts to move away from the mic as he says "louder", which is audible as it gets quieter.

Uh, watch it again. Go back a little bit if you need to. The volume of his voice doesn't change, regardless of how close far he is from the mic. Overdubbed. It's no surprise, it's an industry standard to clean stuff up, I'm just saying I'd prefer if it wasn't.

its not playback or overdubbing. either live, or during the mixing of this video, they will have addded a little compression to the vocal track make his voice more consistant. a very standard technique in mixing.

@Paulie88 ya the vocals r overdubbed, and i agree that sucks, but they do still play thrash, some of it isn't but alot of it still is, burnt ice, sleep walker, 1320, head crusher, thrash

Dave's lead tone is orgasmic. It sounds just like the remastered version of Peace sells. It's way better than his tone on That One Night.

Megadeth are doing great! This is one of the best live performances I've ever seen! They play great and Dave's voice is perfect. I should buy that DVD at all cost.
