Never to grow up together, and get married or have children. I personally liked the "Hook" movie' s outcome, cause it showed Peter staying and growing up with Wendy's daughter or granddaughter.

The movie also sends a point, that male and female cannot be just friends.... at one point something will happen and either one or both want more. This is what happend here. Love its all fun until the emotion gets in the way and all other emotions follow it which lead to conflict.

That is sad how that happened to you, I'm sorry. Although, Peter didn't leave Wendy for Tinkerbell, he left her because she wanted to grow up and he didn't. He loved her though, and she loved him too, she gave him her kiss! In the end, Tinkerbell also understood that. Peter loved Wendy... and I wish it would have ended happier.
