how does the decoder get power wen u lift it off the track

It is fitted with DCC Concepts flicker free which has a 300,000 mF capacitor in the circuit. When power fails the capacitor supplies the power for a couple of minutes. You can get these kits from most hobby shops but if you want decoder control ask for DCC Concepts Flicker Free 2. It will be a year or so before other manufactures work out how he did it and copy it.
