The first act of mass genocide was committed by a religious group (The most holy church of god, as ordered by the good 'ol Pope roughly 2000 years ago). The last by religious fanatics in Rwanda, as well as the Pakistani cleansing a couple years ago. Most acts of genocide are committed by religious groups. Which is why, if I practised a religion, it would be Buddism. They are a truly non-violent people :3
@warriorofwrestlingv3 Wow, cool =) the movie crow Is also one of my all time favorite movies! to bad that Brandon Lee died In the making of It...he was an great person and actor just like his father, Mr Bruce Lee.
@Guitarisma fuck off "god" did not do shit in creating buckethead (or anything for that matter), buckethead achieved his skill through sheer determination and practice.
@botleydot Who the hell are you ya net junkie take your sorry no good scientology talk on another board Buckethead is an MJ Fan and as one myself I can't be an MJ fan if I didn't love God.
@Guitarisma Hahahaha, "scientology talk" are you kidding? You do know there is a difference between science and scientology. The stupidity of some people really makes me sick sometimes. I hope one day you realise that religion debauches the scientific enterprise, discourages independent thought and rationality and is the only major form of discrimination still prominent in our society. I guarantee you if that day comes you'll gain enlightenment far beyond any fairy tale
@botleydot I'm afraid I'm gonna have to correct you good sir. Religion does not debauch Science in anyway. As a matter of fact, Religion and Science are perfectly capable of coexisting in harmony, and they certainly do in this day and age, it's just that people fail to see that they work hand in hand. If you take the time to study up on Spirituality, you'll learn there is a lot of Science behind Spirituality.
@UnknownSect333 I don't see how they are a form of brainwashing. Religion gives some people faith and morals making them better human beings and more passionate about whatever it is that they do. Of course there are corrupt religious people, like some Middles Easterns (no offense to any Middle Easterns reading this, but you can't deny that), but that's their own fault that they're corrupt, not their religions.
@pdefreitas94 That's true, but like everything else, it was corrupted (Religion) over time. It's become more of a business now. Like LDS, they're nice people and all, but they just push, for people to follow their religion, so hard. Same with science. Science, is basically common sense. In a way though, it almost forces everyone to believe they are bound by these rules. But yeah, that's actually their fault. How did this subject even get on a Buckethead video anyway?? lol
@UnknownSect333 As far as Science, I don't think that's brainwashing either. Back in more primitive times, whenever there was a storm or something of that nature, people thought the Gods were angry at them, but thanks to Science, we are fortunate enough to know that storms or other natural disasters are perfectly normal.
@pdefreitas94 really? galileo's persecution? the holstering of stem cell research due to dogmatic faith heads? the constant attempted debunking of evolution and attempt to have it taken out of classrooms? I'd say religion and science directly relate and are inversely proportional ie, the more of one, the less of the other and you'd be a fool to not see this relationship
@botleydot did it ever occur to you that you could be a maniac with a Bias view of the world and a shitty belief in nothing for yourself and by telling others to follow in your steps is leading them to a boring nothing life? God bless you Minnie Mouse.

@theoriginalPARKFACE Look I'm sorry I would be a hipocrite if I called myself a true follower. Honestly I love you all and I don't know where it comes from. You don't need a God for that Athiest or Religulous I love you and I wish the best Peace for you in your life and I hope you will always truely be happy. To answer your question I think I am a maniac.
@SpartanLaserCanon I think it's partly due to the fact that this song is vocal-less, and so has no catchy phrases to be remembered for. Also partly because not everyone got the soundtrack to the movie, and even among those, most of them were how old when the movie came out?
This song doesn't sound like Buckethead playing guitar at all but that was 16-ish years ago and the background song sounds like "Dead Souls" by Nine Inch Nails which is from the Crow Sound Track...
omg its incredible! umimaginable! first i found out about Buckethead when i was searching Power Rangers theme song, and , damn, i think i fell in love in Buckethead`s music!
Ha! Jimmy Page never played an original note in his life! Question: Would it be wrong to put Satriani and Buckethead in the same catagory? I mean...I don't think one is better than the other but I just wanna know if people wanna play the whole "who is better" fanboy/girl game if the comparisons could actually be legit or not?
Buckethead is good, there is no denying that.. Sure, there may be people better than he in terms of technique and musicality that have much less fame, (Marshall Harrison is a good example) but they play in different styles. Buckethead's style of play sounds good to a lot of people, that is why he is famous. If someone else played exactly the way he plays, they would likely be famous too. I think music is about making sounds that people like. Buckethead does that.
BUCKETHEAD has been voted number 8 on a list in GuitarOne magazine of the "Top 20 Greatest Guitar Shredders of All Time" as well as been included in Guitar World's lists of the "25 all-time weirdest guitarists" also known for being in the "50 fastest guitarists of all time list".
@MrR3start All of those numbers you listed are built on people's opinions and have no meaning related to actual skill. Similar stories with the haters: they don't like his music = him sucking in comparison to other guitarists...? No.
@MrR3start I discredit that magazine; anyone who has heard a decent base of Buckethead (even something as low as 5% of his songs), can easily tell that he has unparalleled skill and unfathomable creativity.
you gotta be a retard if you think Frusciante is better... although he is good he doesnt touch Buckethead.. try out soothsayer out for size slick willy
@Marissa0425 ur an idiot. buckethead isnt even in the top 300 best guitarists of all time. not even fucking close. a great shredder and creative musician. but not guitarist
@TheTeds35 I'm not your friend, retard. And I've listened to Buckethead much more than you. If you think he's one of the top 300 guitarists of all time, YOU haven't taken the time to listen to Buckethead, bitch.
@YouGotSubbed I have most of Buckethead's albums and have listened to him plenty. The emotion that he has in his music is better than just about everyone. And why do you claim that you listen to Buckethead so much if you don't even like him?
@TheTeds35 LMAO. End of argument. You lose. He isn't better than everyone hahhahahahha. Dumb justin bieber lover. Hendrix, SRV, Gilmour, Slash, BB King, Cobain, Santana have so much more soul and feeling and emotion in their songs than buckethead does. Take the solo from Time and that destroys BH's entire discography. I like Buckethead, and I respect him. But you overrate him clearly. It's his Bieber-like fans I don't like or respect.
@YouGotSubbed I agree with everything you put on that list except Cobain.. Sure, he was a grunge pioneer but god damn, a good guitarist, really? I know people have their own opinions but, I don't see how Cobain could make that list.
@Asstricks cobain was a fantastic song writer. his guitar playing was not very good at all...but let's face it, the beatles weren't the best musicians in the world either. oh and let me say that I can't stand Nirvana. But i will stand by what I say that I think him being rated one of the best guitar players was based on his ability to construct a catchy song that will stick in your head
As rarely as I say it, lick a sack, dude. Buckethead has more creativity and ability than any of those you have mentioned. Yes, you mentioned some good musicians, but Buckethead does so many things, he's played almost every genre, made tons of songs, and can still create wonderful songs, nobody can touch him. Not only does he have tons of feeling in his songs, he also has an interesting backstory. You are an ignorant prick if you think he's not a good guitarist/musician.
@PGspeed88 Lolololol. Buckethead better than Gilmour, Hendrix, Slash, Santana and BB King?! FAIL. Ignorant prick. Don't post a comment until you educate your opinion little failtroll.
Slash's crap all sounds the same, he's nowhere near as creative and hasn't written as much as Buckethead. I don't particularly like Gilmour or BB King, so I won't just say they suck or anything, I like Buckethead much more. Santana has become more overrated than he should be, only having a few songs that are any good, and Buckethead is STILL rolling out amazing things.
Open your ears, retard.
Lolololol has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever seen typed.
@PGspeed88 Buckethead better than Gilmour, Hendrix, Slash, Santana and BB King?! Don't post a comment until you educated your opinion little retard. Slash's crap all sounds the same? Lololol. You obviously haven't heard ANY of his work. Does Estranged sound anything like One In a Million? Does Don't Cry sound anything like Nightrain? Your comment is the dumbest thing I've ever seen typed. And saying Santana is overrated is like saying Ray Charles or Bob Dylan is overrated - just shut up retard.
Get the cock out of your mouth and get in reality. Slash's solos sound the same, BH only improved GNR, and left cause they still sucked. Ray Charles is a blind guy, Santana isn't, you can't compare them, I don't think Bob Dylan's overrated, but neither are anything special, they aren't out of the ordinary like Buckethead.
You're just mad because Buckethead makes amazing music and you can't, and your opinions suck.
@YouGotSubbed Ill have to disagree on HENDRIX bro. BH...He's new and different and love his music but HENDRIX is on another level for almost 40 Years :-)
HENDRIX is shit. Just like JFK and Kurt Cobain... all 3 of them are ENTIRELY overrated and their shortcomings are over looked simply because they are dead, and died tragically. If Hendrix was still alive, or hadn't died in his prime, people including yourself wouldn't think he's so incredible.
@SunshineBoy83 And eventually you will Die and you and your impertinent comments will be overated. You are also a Minority. The only difference between those you oppose is that they are legendary and your SHIT.Show some RESPECT little Boy
@SunshineBoy83 hendrix isnt shit, but im not a big fan of him. kurt cobain i respect highly whether hes dead or not. great music, great rage and emotion and he inspired me and changed my life. just like buckethead did.
I agree with everything you wrote, but Slash's music does not all sound the same.
I'm sorry, but i really dont think you've listened to enough of his music. Not to mention your probably very biased against Slash. Slash, is also still rolling out with some good music.
Just because you like Buckethead, which i do too, doesn't mean you have to hate Slash. They're both great guitarists who deserves their props.
@YouGotSubbed From reading your comments I gether your head is very far up your arse, may I reccomend surgery? That, and also you obviously haven't heard much buckethead. He has 29 solo albums, one of wich came out very recently. Listen to Soothsayer or something, that seems to be popular. And then listen to Coma with Serj Tankien, and we'll see who plays with emotion. Then we'll see who got stubbed.
@TheJonnyDude You're an idiot, obviously. I heard (and own) a good 18 of his solo albums. And I never said in any of my comments he does not play with emotion, which in some of his work, he does. I'm simply stating, as a guitarist, his emotion doesn't compare with that of Page, Gilmour, Slash, or Santana. Doesn't come close. And he's a great shredder, but that doesn't make him a great guitarist. He is not a great guitarist. And like most of the 80s, axl just basically took techniques from zep.
@YouGotSubbed Well you obviously dont know your shit then, maybe invest in some hearing aids? And your oppinion is your oppinion, not fact. I'm sure almost everyone here feels that Buckethead plays with emotion.
@YouGotSubbed I would also like to confirm that I am a great lover of Slash's music and contribution to Guns N Roses, because people can love both Slash and Buckethead, although I think we can both agree that Axl Rose is an ass hole and doesn't really match the awesomeness of either of them.
@TheJonnyDude Well you clearly have no idea what you're talking about and basing all your uneducated opinions on your ignorant, inexperienced variety of music. Have you ever even LISTENED to gilmour? Hendrix? Santana? B.B King? Slash? Page? OBVIOUSLY NOT. So thanks for just making yourself look like a complete dumb ass who doesn't know shit about music because you can take ANY buckethead fan who's listened to them and know that they all play far more emotional than BH. Peace.
@YouGotSubbed I laughed at your pathetic comment. Of course they play with emotion, doesn't every guitarist? And I hadn't realised you broke into my house and went through my record collection... Course i've heard them dumbass. Maybe your an android but i'm not sure how you can say a man who wrote songs called "For mom" and "Watching the boats with my dad" shows no emotion... I'm sick of arguing with you anyway. Maybe your so much better at guitar than Buckethead. Fuck off and grow up dumb-ass.
I've listened to all the guitarists you said...they all play extremely good, but Buckethead plays faster, with more emotion and more genres than them, but you can prefer whichever guitarist you want.
Check other Buckethead songs, maybe you'll find something emotional that you like :D
@Palarus Speed has nothing to do with being better or worse. And it's quantity not quality. And Jimmy Page is much better than Buckethead at so many different genres like reggae, progressive rock, blues, salsa, and folk? He's quality AND quantity, unlike BH. I've heard much more BH than you. guarenteed -.-...dont bother. buckethead is no where close to anything special.
@YouGotSubbed I am sorry to interfere, but, I think often that BH is neither for the blind, nor for the one-eyed my friend. There is still more depth to it...often some songs come confusing, but that has to do with the dynamics of how your perceptions behave within the rest of the ''world''. He is no where close to anyghin special? Just because he is outside of your definitions of where he should fit in? Interesting twist:) Look...peace and love...and if you dont believe that...let us just listen
Not sure of the origins of this debate, but I'll say that Buckethead is perhaps the only better bassist I've seen than Flea. Check out the bootlegs of him jamming like speedfunk on bass, that shit is incredible. And he does quite a bit of collab work.
@finalfantasiservii umm... dude i dont think buckethead is a bassist, he is the best guitarist in the WORLD, other than Eddie Van Halen, he deserves to be in this too
@heyguys22 "dude i dont think buckethead is a bassist".... raaagggeee meeter...filling....UP! Watch the secret recipe dvd or any video of him playing bass... HE EVEN USES BASS TECHNIQUES IN HIS GUITAR PLAYING! He started out playing bass and then moved onto guitar. And Eddie??....>.> Great innovator no doubt. One of the first big names to uses finger tapping techniques but, he annoys me sooooooOOOoooooOooooOo much.
@jrcsgtpeppers Well, look at it this way. Rock guitar took the blues pentatonic scales for 95% of rock and roll songs. Now, I am not saying every rock artist is a B.B. King but, with that little scale, you could create some pretty sick blues licks.
And you are so right. RHCP and Buckethead don't work. RHCP is way too... I guess the only way to put it is normal. I know how great RHCP is but, Buckethead's style is awkward and chaotic with subtle cries. You can't put him in a band like RHCP.

SO FUCK OFF HATERS!!!!!
MrR3start 1 year ago 2
@MrR3start All of those numbers you listed are built on people's opinions and have no meaning related to actual skill. Similar stories with the haters: they don't like his music = him sucking in comparison to other guitarists...? No.
Muso992 1 year ago
@MrR3start I discredit that magazine; anyone who has heard a decent base of Buckethead (even something as low as 5% of his songs), can easily tell that he has unparalleled skill and unfathomable creativity.
Nobody comes close to Buckethead. On ANY level.

Marissa0425 1 year ago
@Marissa0425 ur an idiot. buckethead isnt even in the top 300 best guitarists of all time. not even fucking close. a great shredder and creative musician. but not guitarist
YouGotSubbed 1 year ago
@YouGotSubbed You my friend are fucking retarded and have not taken the time to listen to Buckethead. Have a nice day and fuck off
TheTeds35 1 year ago
@TheTeds35 I'm not your friend, retard. And I've listened to Buckethead much more than you. If you think he's one of the top 300 guitarists of all time, YOU haven't taken the time to listen to Buckethead, bitch.
YouGotSubbed 1 year ago
@YouGotSubbed I have most of Buckethead's albums and have listened to him plenty. The emotion that he has in his music is better than just about everyone. And why do you claim that you listen to Buckethead so much if you don't even like him?
TheTeds35 1 year ago
@TheTeds35 LMAO. End of argument. You lose. He isn't better than everyone hahhahahahha. Dumb justin bieber lover. Hendrix, SRV, Gilmour, Slash, BB King, Cobain, Santana have so much more soul and feeling and emotion in their songs than buckethead does. Take the solo from Time and that destroys BH's entire discography. I like Buckethead, and I respect him. But you overrate him clearly. It's his Bieber-like fans I don't like or respect.
YouGotSubbed 1 year ago
@YouGotSubbed I agree with everything you put on that list except Cobain.. Sure, he was a grunge pioneer but god damn, a good guitarist, really? I know people have their own opinions but, I don't see how Cobain could make that list.
Asstricks 1 year ago
@Asstricks cobain was a fantastic song writer. his guitar playing was not very good at all...but let's face it, the beatles weren't the best musicians in the world either. oh and let me say that I can't stand Nirvana. But i will stand by what I say that I think him being rated one of the best guitar players was based on his ability to construct a catchy song that will stick in your head
paulyboy911 1 year ago
@paulyboy911 that's fair! I can respect that! :)
Asstricks 1 year ago
@YouGotSubbed
PGspeed88 1 year ago
@PGspeed88 Lolololol. Buckethead better than Gilmour, Hendrix, Slash, Santana and BB King?! FAIL. Ignorant prick. Don't post a comment until you educate your opinion little failtroll.
YouGotSubbed 1 year ago
@YouGotSubbed
PGspeed88 1 year ago
@PGspeed88 Buckethead better than Gilmour, Hendrix, Slash, Santana and BB King?! Don't post a comment until you educated your opinion little retard. Slash's crap all sounds the same? Lololol. You obviously haven't heard ANY of his work. Does Estranged sound anything like One In a Million? Does Don't Cry sound anything like Nightrain? Your comment is the dumbest thing I've ever seen typed. And saying Santana is overrated is like saying Ray Charles or Bob Dylan is overrated - just shut up retard.
YouGotSubbed 1 year ago
@YouGotSubbed
PGspeed88 1 year ago
@YouGotSubbed Ill have to disagree on HENDRIX bro. BH...He's new and different and love his music but HENDRIX is on another level for almost 40 Years :-)
THEUNSPOKEN100 1 year ago
@THEUNSPOKEN100
SunshineBoy83 1 year ago

THEUNSPOKEN100 1 year ago
@SunshineBoy83: The reason why Hendrix was such a big deal was because he was the best of his time, not the best of today.
CoreThrasherGLB 1 year ago
@SunshineBoy83 hendrix isnt shit, but im not a big fan of him. kurt cobain i respect highly whether hes dead or not. great music, great rage and emotion and he inspired me and changed my life. just like buckethead did.
itsraininglool 4 months ago
@THEUNSPOKEN100 you miscomprehended what i said. I said Hendrix > BH. and you basically agreed to what i said and made it sound like ur disagreeing.
YouGotSubbed 1 year ago
@PGspeed88
JackIntheBK 1 year ago
@YouGotSubbed From reading your comments I gether your head is very far up your arse, may I reccomend surgery? That, and also you obviously haven't heard much buckethead. He has 29 solo albums, one of wich came out very recently. Listen to Soothsayer or something, that seems to be popular. And then listen to Coma with Serj Tankien, and we'll see who plays with emotion. Then we'll see who got stubbed.
TheJonnyDude 1 year ago
@TheJonnyDude You're an idiot, obviously. I heard (and own) a good 18 of his solo albums. And I never said in any of my comments he does not play with emotion, which in some of his work, he does. I'm simply stating, as a guitarist, his emotion doesn't compare with that of Page, Gilmour, Slash, or Santana. Doesn't come close. And he's a great shredder, but that doesn't make him a great guitarist. He is not a great guitarist. And like most of the 80s, axl just basically took techniques from zep.
YouGotSubbed 1 year ago
@YouGotSubbed Well you obviously dont know your shit then, maybe invest in some hearing aids? And your oppinion is your oppinion, not fact. I'm sure almost everyone here feels that Buckethead plays with emotion.
TheJonnyDude 1 year ago
@YouGotSubbed I would also like to confirm that I am a great lover of Slash's music and contribution to Guns N Roses, because people can love both Slash and Buckethead, although I think we can both agree that Axl Rose is an ass hole and doesn't really match the awesomeness of either of them.
TheJonnyDude 1 year ago
@TheJonnyDude Well you clearly have no idea what you're talking about and basing all your uneducated opinions on your ignorant, inexperienced variety of music. Have you ever even LISTENED to gilmour? Hendrix? Santana? B.B King? Slash? Page? OBVIOUSLY NOT. So thanks for just making yourself look like a complete dumb ass who doesn't know shit about music because you can take ANY buckethead fan who's listened to them and know that they all play far more emotional than BH. Peace.
YouGotSubbed 1 year ago
@YouGotSubbed I laughed at your pathetic comment. Of course they play with emotion, doesn't every guitarist? And I hadn't realised you broke into my house and went through my record collection... Course i've heard them dumbass. Maybe your an android but i'm not sure how you can say a man who wrote songs called "For mom" and "Watching the boats with my dad" shows no emotion... I'm sick of arguing with you anyway. Maybe your so much better at guitar than Buckethead. Fuck off and grow up dumb-ass.
TheJonnyDude 1 year ago 14
@YouGotSubbed
I've listened to all the guitarists you said...they all play extremely good, but Buckethead plays faster, with more emotion and more genres than them, but you can prefer whichever guitarist you want.
Check other Buckethead songs, maybe you'll find something emotional that you like :D
Palarus 1 year ago
@Palarus Speed has nothing to do with being better or worse. And it's quantity not quality. And Jimmy Page is much better than Buckethead at so many different genres like reggae, progressive rock, blues, salsa, and folk? He's quality AND quantity, unlike BH. I've heard much more BH than you. guarenteed -.-...dont bother. buckethead is no where close to anything special.
YouGotSubbed 1 year ago

And he does quite a bit of collab work.

buckethead just does not fit their style
being RHCP and Buckethead are my 2 favourite bands ever
John frusciante and buckethead are nothing alike
John is RHCP and Buckethead is Buckethead
buckethead just doesnt fit into another band
he is his own band and will always be
he needs full freedom, which doesnt happen in MOST bands
Buckethead can play every genre... except blues lol no offfense, i just havent heard him play any good blues.
It just wouldnt work.
jrcsgtpeppers 1 year ago
@jrcsgtpeppers Well, look at it this way. Rock guitar took the blues pentatonic scales for 95% of rock and roll songs. Now, I am not saying every rock artist is a B.B. King but, with that little scale, you could create some pretty sick blues licks.
And you are so right. RHCP and Buckethead don't work. RHCP is way too... I guess the only way to put it is normal. I know how great RHCP is but, Buckethead's style is awkward and chaotic with subtle cries. You can't put him in a band like RHCP.

One of the repeating guitar riffs in this song (1:34 for example) sounds VERY similar to the main riff in Nine Inch Nail's song 'Dead Souls'
