I have noticed that these five steps reflect the basic 5 Ws and How which we learned back in highschool.

First step reflects the "What" -What is the problem? (Define)

Second step reflects Where: Where is this problem coming from? (Analyze)

Third step reflects Who : Who is behind this problem - so get data specific to the problem

Fourth step reflects Why : Why is the data results the way they are

Fifth step reflects How: How were results taken from data

I like how you give examples and elaborate very clearly on the 5 steps of the marketing research. It makes the process easier because you "only learn what you need to know" this makes sense because if you have too information you are going to be lost and more confused because there is so much for siphon out.
