However, it would have been much more so if the self-absorbed moron interviewing her hadn't spent half of the interview fishing for compliments from her about his sunglasses. I mean, who the hell CARES what sunglasses YOU wear? There should be a sign in every media office where every reporter can read it and it should say, "YOU are NOT the news."
This was a light hearted interview to be sure and that's fine. Give the girl a chance please, she's all of the geriatric age of 16. Dave can start peppering here with world peace and socio-economic related questions after she turns 18 if it's cool with you.
Elena's interview was fine Dave, she's a bright girl with an light-hearted attitude.
@TheArfdog Sorry for the late reply. No, none of the japanese bikes are ballasted. However, the Ducati 848 has an extra 25 lbs. Joey Pascarella raced it twice in Supersport then went back to the R6.
@steadiworkz I can see grumpy's point. But, like you, I found what she had to say interesting. For me, every interview adds another piece to the puzzle of understanding who somebody is, whether I do the interview or watch somebody elses.
@grumpone I was a bit disappointed with myself in that one, for sure. I can ask better questions and she certainly has more to say, but I've got to give her the opportunity since I lead the interview dance. Luckily Daytona is only 5 months away.
