Your right the footage is from the Alabama 2006 but since this is a commercial that was promoting the 2007 on at NC A&T the footage had to be used from Alabama. Everything up there is correct. Thanks.

goddd i hate highstepping bands.. no offense to the people in them. i just don't like the style.. i'm used to being in a really good marching band that marches at state and everything..

Highstepping was the standard Marching style of School/college bands and DCI... untill "Corpstyle" came into play...just wanna give u a lil FYI

was that supposed to be an insult?!? these bands ARE "really good". and what do you mean "marches at state and everything"? in case you hadnt noticed this is a step above state, this is NATIONALS (ever been there?). just becuz u do things differently doesnt mean u do things better.

no it wasn't supposed to be an insult, that would be why i said no offense. i should have specified when i said im in a really good marching band that i was talking about a really good corp-style marching band. im not saying that these bands aren't good, at all. im just stating that i like corp-style better. and were good enough to go to nationals but our area isn't able to support the trip financially. and the district blocks going out of state more than once every four years. so please don't

take what i said to mean that high stepping bands arent good. there are just many misconceptions about high stepping bands.

and none of the ones in my area are any good..

so that explains why i dont really like them as much i guess. im not exposed to any good ones.

Ya I agree. I don't like high stepping bands either, it looks good sometimes, but sometimes it doesn't look good. I guess its just personal opinion to it all.

Awesome leave it to the sout to create some awesome marching bands with a whole bunch of stuff etc. if i wasnt white i would join em(not RACIST) I have a bunch friends of many races, asian,african american,spainish, british,etc.

I dont see how it would be wierd seeing as im hispanic and in a marching band that is going to this competition (and is predominantly black). Most marching bands don't discriminat if you can play your horn well enough.
