  • George galloway just had a video of the iranian consulate in london attacked by hooligans but no arrests and the guts even put the video up on their website. Brits are being hypocritical

  • @am1966ath I stand corrected; however the sentiment still stands; what was allowed to happen was totally unacceptable if Iran wants to be taken seriously and seen as a peer by the west.

when the Iranian embassy in the UK was seized, despite UK foreign policy at the time, the govt used everything in their power to get the Iranians out safely.

Acts like this are how we form bridges, If Iran had stepped in and protected the embassy, it would of generated good will, instead of dividing further.

  • Hopefully, the brits will find a soloution to this without bloodshed. I don't understand why the iranian peole run the business of their fucked up, opressive regime, it seems to me as if alot of them actually support their child molesting leaders.

  • I agree with you am1966ath; more interaction and involvement with Iran is the solution (was a good 'Empire' episode on it) hence whether govt. sponsored or not; this event sends things in the wrong direction... having said that I think its important to remember in both nations there are political spectrum's - political elements both in the UK and Iran will benefit from how this went down.

these protesters also hurt image of Iranians; fuelling the "Angry Arab" stereotype already in the media

  • This program seems to have missed the point completely!

who did and supported it irrelevant, the history & policies of the UK in Iran is irrelevant.

Iranian Govt. failed the most basic responsibility of diplomacy that goes back thousands of years: guaranteeing the security of guests on your soil.

If my country allowed this to happen to foreign embassy I would be so ashamed and embarrassed of my nation; being hospitable and and dignified even with your enemy is the sign of a superior nation

  • @thedrumm3rguy Excuse me, to protect ambassadors & embassies is not something ancient..many embassadors used to lose their head when the receiving ruler didn t like the message they were bringing, city state of Athens killed the persian ambassador, the Mamluck-rulers of Cairo executed the ambassador sent to them by the mongols. The rumanian ruler Vlad Teppes had the turkish emissary killed..the international rule that governs the sanctity of diplomats is quite new.

  • If states could actually do the will of the people, they would all agree to sign and adhere to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation treaty, something that the overwhelming majority of people in the world can agree is a really good thing to do.This would stop nuclear proliferation of states, and give the institutions that regulate nuclear proliferation the legitimacy they lost after the Iraqi fiasco, that we are about to repeat on a far more devastating scale in Iran if this keeps going the way it is.

  • @JimmyeDallas the NPT calls for all nuclear weapon to be abandoned. US and Russia will never do that; the treaty is a lie. if we really want the will of the people to be enforce, the only way is to destroy all the border between countries so there can be one voice in the world. as long as there is the intent to keep political division in the world, there will be no voice for the people for it means people would rather still preserve their own state.

  • - WARNING DO NOT UPDATE THE LAST YOUTUBE VERSION - because it doesnt have friend invite and do not have channel views - This is a move for not allowing the public to see that your channel has much more views than others and also a move to not allow you have more friends on your list or communicate with people - They are trying to manipulate public opinion with this move to not allow people organize against immoral and warmonger governments with world record of debts..

  • Iran should learn from libya. If you get rid of the nukes, we will get rid of you.

  • Rami Khouri, you're my man! well said

  • With all due respect, the Iranian commentator does not have a good grasp of the situation or he is trying save face for Khameneii who is responsible.

If he had watched the clips from the incident, it was obvious that the men in uniform were directing the actions of the mob, rather than containing them.

  • @BachehMirdamad

He is not an official; he expresses his own view that in my opinion is carp. Iran would not do this without calculating all the outcomes. The fact is that there is no point in having political relations with an enemy. The sooner you cut the tie and stop them spying on you and killing your scientists the better. Let us face it; UK has never been a friend on Iran.

  • The beirut guy is an idiot...there is no emotion in the actions in the west.

its all vested interests, and their moves are calculated.

I find it funny that these guys cry out that we are not logicial before we JDAM them.

  • Why should Iran should have embassies if they are already being sanctioned from all angles. Unless the britishers wants to continue their secret or covert activities

  • Maybe we should pull down the Iranian flag and take a collective shit on it.

They seem to have no respect for embassies. They either seems to take them over or blow them up.

  • Iran is isolated, from a position of weakness and with few true friends. They need as much help as they can get and while the storming of the embassy looked like a good way to assert their opinions it might end up doing unintended damage. While the handling of Iran has definitely had some double standards, it doesn't help to make negotiations more difficult. This situation can only hurt Iran.

  • @Icix1

My Friend, Iran is not Isolated, the world is not the west. They are Isolated from the west, that's about it.

  • The best thing is no more new international war! Better focus on economic elements. The more pressure given to Iran will be making Iran more stronger - China and Russia supported Iran.

  • USA bully?

  • @Stevie68000 stop being ignorant and blaming people because of their faith !

  • What the Iranian man said is true there must be negiotiations without preconditions

  • Iran was sending a political message, they can radicalize the diplomacy. But what got my attention was denial from clergy, the base of political legitimacy within country.

To know what happened we need to give it some time.

  • @Ilusionariat I dunno. It seems to me that the UK has more to gain by staging this event than Iran.. The UK, US and Nato are the aggressors here spoiling for a fight. Iran wouldn't wait to incite the western public to garner any support for military action whatsoever so why would the Iranian government do this? Doesn't make sense. The comments were that the people protesting weren't even Iranian..

  • @delatroy Absolutely spot on.

  • @delatroy I agree, it doesn't make sense.

About those attackers, they weren't student for sure. I read somewhere they are part of pressure militia force.

  • Why is the American government and the Israeli Zionist nation so forceful! They are hypocrites. The Zionist have nukes! And they are a rouge state! While Iran with 3000 years of history and amazing culture are not allowed to develop WMDs, not for warfare but to make sure no country dare to attack it! America and Israel should know where they stand, because we dont want history to repeat it self! No one wants a nuclear fallout! WWIII is just around the corner!

  • @IBzu1 yea but iran become muslim, and become 3 world unstable country, they say that Jesus is not God

  • @udical What is religion got to do with the achievement of nuclear power!! So what if they are Muslim or Christian!...everyone has the right to practice whatever deity they believe in. Labelling someone and not giving them the right to build nuclear plants is racist and arrogant. The hypocrisy in this world never stops astonishing me! Please open your mind and see the double standard. Imagine yourself in their position. How with you feel if the world is suppressing you?

  • @IBzu1 wow u are really ridged liberal idiot which thinks that everyone is same like u, nice tolerant and liberal young boy... gee how ridged u are, do u have mirror?

  • @udical After reading your reply, it shows you are uneducated, a racist and arrogant. I am not going down to your level and start a youtube slagbattle. good day to you!

  • I Love how you shoot down any attempt to talk about the US-Saudi link. We cant have any of that can we?

    Long live the empire....

  • Iran is not guilty of anything. USA should stop being a bully nation.

  • @youngbuck189 USA bully?/ in 1979 the moronic-agressive theocracy-mob occupied the US embassy in Tehran and taking its employees as hostage..there is something called international law that protects foreign missions..would you like exil iranians to storm the iranian UN-mission in New York??

  • lol, when protestor pull down the PRC flag and storm the PRC embassy in europe, the european government didn't do shit either. double standard as always, when their at fault, they claim it cannot be stop, when it happened to them, they claim it must be stoppable, such disconnection with reality is why their economic is going down the toilet, time for european government to learn and be factual and fair i think.

  • @akinkhoo What propaganda are you talking????? when there is a demostration outside the US,Israeli or Iranian embassies for example..in Stockholm,Paris,Athens or Berlin there are riot police that cordons off the embassy. What is fair for a medieval mullah??

  • @am1966ath the incident with PRC embassy did happened some years ago, unlike you I do not have a short memory of France and other european mayor trying to explain they do not have the power to prevent that. every country claims they "tries", the argument here is the claim that it is possible to be 100% successful, if that is the case and PRC embassy was hit in europe, using such an assumption they are making, it would be the european are doing it on purpose. they demand what they can't do.

  • @akinkhoo Do you suggest that european countries stage attacks against foreign embassies?? Do you think that the iranians who attacked the UK-embassy were not organized??. In European countries there is usually riot-police outside embassies that are under scrutiny of demostrators. In the 1970S in Sweden, hippi-protesters threw eggs on the limousine of the US- embassador but swedish riot police moved in hard and brutal against them. But the swedish government didn t instigate these protest.

  • @am1966ath the point being that if you can't argue that it possible to both stop it yet argue it is not possible to stop it. I believe in rationality, not opinions. I question precisely what they said, that it can be prevented, yet how is it that they themselves fail to do so. it like arguing torture is wrong and then approving gitmo, of course the opinion are different, but you can't argue that the rationality is there.

european demands from others what they themselves cannot do is the reality

  • @akinkhoo There isno rationality in the poisonous relation between the US and Iran..hasn t been for 30years..and the iranian public is being hurt by this conflict..most visibly in the terms of aviation. Iran air, although having plenty of money can t buy new aircrafts because in new airbuses there are US-parts...Iranair has a motley collection of 1970S and early 1980S B747S and Airbus 300 that they keep repairing. This embargo have led to many air accidants in Iran.

  • @am1966ath yes, there no reasoning. yet I doubt the problem is limited to just Iran, western politician treat all non western country like that. they have this natural assumption that "the world" refers to just them, and any outsider with different opinion are stupid barbarians that has to be changed and "corrected" to their worldview.

in the name of freedom, they would impose their will on others, what irony.

  • @akinkhoo There have not been any normal relation between the western world and Iran, since the shah..except for the russians and Germany. That Iran is a theocracy that have chosen another way of life could play a role...however this conflict is not worth the lives of hundreds of iranian air passangers that bumb around Iran in antiquated

Tupolevs and 1970S vintage Boeings or that there is no social conntacts or business with a people who have a 3000 year old history.

  • @akinkhoo I think that the relation between the UK and Iran, has got out of hand..Iran is not North korea...Iranians are highly educated and cultivated people and all this poison in relations isn t fruitful. Also Israel poisoning the whole region with its threats.

With more interactionwith Iran, more business, I think that Iran would be become less agressive.
