it would be wonderful to find the whole episode! i think she actually went to the MCShow more than once... and she always killed!!! I remember once she had a discussion with someone (Bonaga?) about rape... she could not take his comments, which I think were quite off the mark...
Wow! Uno dei poki momenti decenti del Maurizio Costanzo Show. Fantastica.
Oh God thank you SO MUCH for posting, I had been looking for this for ages!!!! It was performed at the "Maurizio Costanzo Show" in Italy back in the early nineties... THANKS AGAIN!!!
Hey Diamondturkey, methinks you're devoid of something if you cannot appreciate one of the greatest female talents of the modern era and her unique rendition of this great song....Tori rocks!!
@bigbigsound Even when you started (I guess not so long ago) you were a little piece of shit, only to get bigger in next years. Shut up about Stones, you even weren't around when they started.
@memmori1 you have 2 options...fuck the fuck off or if you prefer fist yourself in the throat until dead..theres some solutions for your unfortunate arseholisms.
Although I like the Tori we have now, I did miss the "old" Tori, but I found an artist that reminds me of the "old Tori" it brings me many happy memories, I can't begin to explain!
Awesome live performance by Tori! The studio version is already incredible but I liked the heavy dose of drama illuminating from this performance. The piano play is soaring and the vocals mournful as this Rolling Stones classic comes to life in a whole new fashion. In the end ... just goes to show you ... the lyrics do matter and they ALWAYS will hold up. She is a very talented/gifted songwriter in her own right, but this just captures her vast appeal as a soulful artist. Thanks for posting. A+!
While I like The Stones and most of the time the original version of a song, Tori Amos has a way, like the late great Johny Cash, of taking a song and making it her own. This is far better then the original in my humble oppinion.
I disagree. She's certainly puts a newish spin on this Stones classic alright but as cover version of Stones classics go I think Melanie Safka's cover of Ruby Tuesday far outshines this - and THIS is very good. No I think 'Angie' remains a Stones Classic
Yeah, and every time I play Fur Elise on the piano I immediately run out in the street and have wild sex with the first female I see. Sometimes just hearing that song makes me spontaneously lesbian, too.
Lovely

The best version of this song by Tori. Such a depth in two short minutes... How she can do that?

I don´t know why she feels that she has to spread her legs like a f"#¤%&&% slut..
Her voice and talent are soooo big that I feel that the erotic thing she has going is not doing much for her.
IMHO.

lol does she yell "oh my fucking god" at the end?! I love her.
