@minimoto42 no need for name calling. maybe he feels like calling it that because it sounds cute to him, or he really didn't know the correct pronunciation.
ive been watching ur vids for a while and my family just started saltwater tank but 2 of the fishes already died in about 2 days and i been trying to convince my parents to buy from online becuz they are cheaper and have a 14 day warranty, but my parents keep saying that they will die before they even get to our house, do u have any advice?
@ippie888 tell them, "how do you think fish stores get their fish, well, they are *shipped* to the fish/pet store". By ordering directly to your home, you are cutting out the middleman, and reducing any illness that may be introduced at the store. They also need to adjust less times to new water, instead of 3 water changes(original source, store, then your house), they just go from the original source to your home, causing them less stress.
@70gallonfishtank yes, I've purchased many fish from here and have had good luck. They also have a great guarentee and refund if a fish dies in 14 days of receiving.
hey dude i know this isnt a freshwater video but i saw ur freshwater tank video
i have a 30 gallon tank (i think it might be 40)
I had two Id Sharks in there for 2 years until they died, they were my first fish, im only 14 so i wanted them because i was like ohh cool sharks, now i realise they are hard to take care off.
So i just got my tank up and running again and i was wondering what are some neat combinations of fish that look really nice in a tank and are not very hard to maintain.
@earthling1984 Does he still hide a lot. The is only one zebra barred dartfish at my pet store and you cant really even see his stripes until you get really close up.
@28GallonBowfront mine has vibrant colors and the stripes are obvious. All of them are different though. Mine does hide a bit, he digs holes in the sand and kind of acts like an eel, hiding and coming out for food. But when I throw in food, he is instantly out and swimming around. He also comes out at random times, but he does hide quite often.
@earthling1984 Yeah i noticed that there were four more zebras at my fish store today very colorful but always hiding under a live rock, kinda wanting a fish that swims around a lot
@mrfurby1000 how so? You realize that fish in pet stores are SHIPPED to this pet stores right? They don't drive down to the local fishmart and pickout their fish. No matter where you get your fish, they were shipped there. I find online ordering to be much less expensive, and have much more variety. Also, the site I order from has a great warranty and when I have had a fish arrive sick or dead, they have refunded without any questions or water testing.
@earthling1984 If you want to get down to it, it's not right to have any of these guys, as they are all wild caught and never will bread in captivity, ocean creatures can survive in aquariums but its just surviving.
That said, I'm positive I'll do a marine aquarium also someday in addition to all my freshwater tanks and pond. That's the advantage of being at the top of the pecking order! (humans that is)
@cpfanrox yes I have in my freshwater tanks. They are quick little buggers! I even had some with a few piranhas(was meant for food, they were put in first to 'cycle' the tank, then the piranhas went in)... the piranhas ate the guppies and goldfish instantly when put in the tank, but the 2 danios in there were NEVER caught by the piranhas. They are fast for sure and fun to watch because they are so active!
@summer751 yes, they are all peaceful fish that won't mess with eachother. The only thing I'm worried about is the huge hermit crab ;p But I think the fish are smart enough to not go by him.
@vanepico yes. All fish are sent through the mail, how do you think your local pet shops get them. Ordering fish online is much better in my opinion. There is a lot more variety to choose from, and usually the prices are also a good amount less than at the local pet shop. Shipping is about $35 though, so ordering a single fish online wouldn't save you money. But if you are buying say $75 or more worth of fish, buying online can save some cash.
dude its not WRASSEEEE its a fuckin wrasse u sound retarded
