  • To Wade Gillingham. I know that you can easily close all of these grippers now, but at one time or another which gripper was tough and hard to close before you begin to be able to do a few reps with it. The reason why I ask is because I can barely close the rb 240ib gripper for 2 reps, it just that tough. I've just ordered the rb 260ib gripper 3 days ago. Is the 260ib gripper is a lil tougher or a lot tougher than the 240ib gripper. You close them grippers like they all weigh the same.

  • Baraban grippers vary, like all grippers. I have a full width 240 that feels like my IronMind 2.5. When I started working with grippers over 10 years ago I could close the IronMind #2 but I doubt that I could have closed the #2.5. So if you can do the RB240 now you are doing good. Just give it time and your grip will continue to improve. Good Luck.
