They werent new. They had been recording for 3 years at this point. He actually mentions hoping to see them all later that night at the New Daisy Theatre in Memphis. He was playing shows at listings like Waterloo, the Grandstands, Oak Mountain (opening for Phish), with a huge college following, playing at George Washington U., Wake Forest, Virginia, Appalachian State, and U of Cali. Not to mention there was the hype for his up and coming album, Under the Table and Dreaming, September 20, 1994..

So if you were in the crowd, I hope you were thinking Dave was gonna make it big. On November 9, 1993, DMB released its first album, Remember Two Things, and the tour that followed is what made him huge. He hit news everywhere because, as quoted by Rolling Stones, "By allowing fans to tape shows for their personal use, DMB created a highly interactive community that continues to this day". This tour he was on in the Fall of 1994 was his defining moment in history.

If you see the start before the blue screen you can kinda hear her saying "Maaatt" (sounds more like Myaat). Anyways.. yeah I made 2 copies outside mine. One for the dude in the gold hat & glasses (in front of camera to the left) and we handed one to dave on stage at the new daisy later that night. We had talked to him after this gig and told him it was coming. Very cool guy.
