I'm a former comedian -- in America. And a champion heckler.

Heckling is considered good sport here, but usually it's intended to compliment the act in some way rather than attack the comedian (although I have done that as well, when the lady was an incredible ass).

I haven't the slightest idea what this guy is talking about. (i also live in LA where there are half a million Iranians in the metro area -- Iranian ethnic humor is well known.)

And I never said djalili is proud of where he comes from. I said Maz is. You can see that by watching any of his interviews. His mission is to let ppl know that ppl from the middle east are 'friendly' and hes trying to break stereotypes that define middle easterners as 'terrorists'.. Maz does make fun of his roots but he does it with good humour.
