@kwedge44 Thank you! We are thankful to be his caregiver and grateful to have the opportunity to get such nice comments about him from people like you.
So what He is beautiful. His colour, a lovely name to go with it, and a great video to watch. Into my favorites!. Thank you. The music was lovely too.Perfect for this video.
@equinartist Jo, I am very late with the reply here, I did not get to the big C, Wish we could meet sometime and I could hear your stories. His colt's are like him and I suspect like Blue's sire, your beautiful horse. It makes you want to keep them all. Thanks so much for standing your sire or we would not have had our character! Peg
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it is impossible to have a Homozygous blue roan because the blue roan color is just a dilute black and in most cases will not be passed on
@APBTisBeast The RN RN color pattern creates the classic roan. On a black base it creates Blue RN. The classic Roan gene was mapped last year and it is possible to have 2 RN genes. See our web page and the UC Davis certificate. He has now produced 21/21 roans from solid mares. The math says it as well as the genetic mapping, I do appreciate your trying to correct misinformation. However, Homozygous is not misapplied in this case He was the first TWH to carry that distinction.
@peggypennington99 you can think this all you want but my uncle had a horse tested for the same gene and it came back positive from UC davis and guess what it was wrong the stallion produced mostly roan but bred to my mare that carries black agouti gene guess what? she threw black because black is the positive gene and roan is recessive i will breed to him have some semen shipped or natural breeding if you are close enough to this same mare and another mare i own and i bet free breeding they don
@gobarrelracing He is out of Generator's Pushin Blue a blue roan, and direct Generator horse, and Walk on Water, a blue roan and a direct Quarterback's Stock mare.
stunning! last i had read there were no confirmed cases of a homozygous roan being carried full term, something about them most likely being reabsorbed inside the mare some time during gestation. i personally am into registered paints and that is what i know, but i did read about the lack of homozygous roans, so when i saw the title of this video i just had to look! you are very lucky, not only to own such a gorgeous and well bred horse, but that he is so unique!

Peggy , is there a way to do blood typing to determine the outcome when you are breeding for the blue roan? I have a mare from the Pusher lines that has blue roan spots. She has produced a red roan but I don't know what the sire was.
Thank you, we are excited to have several nice ladies coming to visit him in the spring. We are going to charge 500.00 for breeding after Jan 1 for those that are not already booked. We are blessed to have some colts that will be in the show ring in the spring GW. Also look forward to some nicer videos that really show his gait soon.
beautiful true blue. You don't see many colored up like him. Where are u located and what is your breeding fee's? I have two pusher bred colts I am in the process of training.
