It's terrible that people do things to try and make it, but just don't do enough research. Real estate is great when it works, but there are learning curves to everything new. Russ Whitney and Associates, are all about money (the money they make, not the money you make) if they misguided her it's because they new she was new, and they are the ones who in fact should be ashamed. It's not right to call anyone stupid for trying to be better. It's sad that idiots make it so hard when it isn't.

this is a great country: you can get rich overnight just by selling empty boxes with "common sense" label on them, if you can only convince people that they lack it. i got a used book with all the information they teach in these seminars; it's up to you what you do with all that information. if all these gurus are so successful in real estate, why do they waist time making more competition for themselves?

I attended Russ Whitney Boot Camps and Millionaire U and currently own over 70 homes and apartment buildings because of it. They are awesome programs. I wouldn't have been able to do it on my own. Well worth the $. I know of others who bought into building homes that Russ offered and made money by selling them like they claimed. The housing market isn't great right now if you are trying to sell. That's life, you win some you loose some. If we had a crystal ball we would all be millionaires.

Why does this country glorify the victum mentality? How come he doesn't mention that she is an idiot to pay 29K for ANY school? That would have been a great down payment. How come he doesn't say that she would have to be stupid to pay 200K for that small house with no tenants? A fool and her money will soon be parted....

Its sad but true. I went to one of these seminars once. The salesmen gets the crowd pumped and motivated. Afterwards the sheep stampeded to the back to whip out thier credit cards.

The amazing thing is certain people told me a I was a "negative" and a "cynic" and a "jerk" for simply pointing out these Real Estate con "schools" and "courses" were for sheep and fools.

They made me feel bad 8(. Like I was a negative asshole. I was just using my common sense. 8(

Nothing is free in this world. With $500 or for free what is learn is not enough. I agree they charge a lot in Russ Whitney but the things that I have learned in those classes are totally worth it. Real Estate is not for everybody. Even after what they show you it is upto you to make it work. They can't feed you everything.

Why give over your hard earned money or go into debt for a promise?

Right. Then everybody would have been rich. Some people will always complain and do nothing. You don't become an engineer just by studying yourself online. You goto school for 4 years and yes you pay. It is same with real estate.

Your comparing apples and steel pipes. Engineering is not even in the same ballpark as a Real Estate Investment education. The information they present can be foudn in thier books. You read the books over and over and over. Then you go online and look things up. Or you can get thier second-hand CD's used for cheap online. You just did not want to spend hours and hours on the computer yes? So you paid someone else to assemble everything for you in a nice pretty gift basket.
