Back on topic, I now like to play Hardcore FFA. Despite how dull the matches might be, I'm almost always the winner. Especially when I've reached 30 kills--I find it funny how the player in second place, only has 15 kills or less.
Oh, and in HC FFA, I only use spyplanes and the Blackbird.

They claim it is about 'Giving back to their subscribers', yet, rating and favouriting videos puts the onto the homepage as well as gaining more money for themselves, and can get them up to 5x the amount of viewers and of course, people will subscribe just because they want whatever is given away. That's not really giving back in my opinion. Not at least to the subscribers who got them there in the first place and the ones who actually watch and rate their videos...

Nice to see a HC vid Kell, it's a different animal for sure and camping is common. I like playing the sniper role there which does require some camping behavior for me to be successful. It's fun to rush around on the small maps though, maybe try some akimbo smg action? You don't have the reticule but you can center the enemy between the two guns with good success.

First they all asked for ratings, then they miscategorized their videos, now most of the commentators tell you to favorite and rate the video and the titles are completely in capital letters. I don't mind rating the videos, but it seems like you should only favorite one if it's one of your "favorites", and I guess capital titles aren't a big deal, it just seems sorta... shitty, I don't know.

I totally agree with you Kelly. If you want to give back to the people that supported you and you have the means to offer some nice items that's great. Why ask people to like and favorite the video though? I can see setting a parameter that they must be a subscriber, and even that I would say that anyone that subscribes after the video was posted is disqualified. But asking for the likes and favorties is nothing more that trying to achieve a spot on the all-time list.
I agree, but what the people doing the giveaways could do is remove the videos after they've finished. I know that would take away a lot of their channel views, and stop people finding their channels so easily but.. What you've said is too true.
Unless the people making those videos are knowingly exploiting the fact that it will get their video on to some all-time list, then this is a problem you should have with YouTube rather than the people creating the videos.
Also, one of the biggest people doing this right now has some of the most creative CoD videos I've ever seen.

if you want a series for campers. Use hardcore gameplay.
The way I've found to play HC FFA without campers, is in the lobby you sort of have to talk trash and call out people, and call out positions to everyone else. "Hey xXQuickScopesxX" is in the top blue..." etc.. I love the concept of HC, but the 15 second repsawn really kills it, and promotes camping. Also, the Galily silenced is great in HC.
I agree that giveaway videos shouldn't be the most viewed because people are not look at the those vids for their content but instead for just the giveaway. But I think that the big call of duty commentators worked and were good enough to get subscribers and a lot of viewers so its not that they just only became big because of their giveaways. If they got in that position solely based on their giveaways then i can see where it would be shittier. I just hope ppl dont stop viewing other
no one forces people to watch giveaway videos instead of the creative ones. people do that of their own accord and i don't think it's right to judge those who host the giveaways.....just saying.....
@shiguren19 What I am saying is that if giveaway videos start making up all of the spots on the All-time Best Rated, Most-favorited, etc. None of the creative ones will be on the list. I am not talking about day to day videos. I am talking about the All-Time ones. It is very difficult to get on those All-Time lists. Only the best gaming videos have made it on there.
I think giveaways are great. I just don't think they deserve a place among the All-time lists because they are only temporary.

I liked hardcore modes in W@W and COD6, but in Black Ops there are so many campers that they make me rage quit every time. It really should be a time-out for corner campers, like loosing points for staying in the same area for a long time.

I totally agree with you Kelly. If you want to give back to the people that supported you and you have the means to offer some nice items that's great. Why ask people to like and favorite the video though? I can see setting a parameter that they must be a subscriber, and even that I would say that anyone that subscribes after the video was posted is disqualified. But asking for the likes and favorties is nothing more that trying to achieve a spot on the all-time list.

I agree, but what the people doing the giveaways could do is remove the videos after they've finished. I know that would take away a lot of their channel views, and stop people finding their channels so easily but.. What you've said is too true.

Unless the people making those videos are knowingly exploiting the fact that it will get their video on to some all-time list, then this is a problem you should have with YouTube rather than the people creating the videos.
Also, one of the biggest people doing this right now has some of the most creative CoD videos I've ever seen.

It's not a purse, it's a satchel! I'll agree aswell, Kelly. It's a shame that the people that did do giveaways, won't just have it seperate from youtube. Throw it on twitter or facebook or something. If someone does giveaways regularly, I'm sure their sub count would go up a decent amount aswell. If they didn't use youtube, it could balance it out a bit. Or maybe I'ver overthinking the process and I'm not giving people enough credit.
if you want a series for campers. Use hardcore gameplay.

The way I've found to play HC FFA without campers, is in the lobby you sort of have to talk trash and call out people, and call out positions to everyone else. "Hey xXQuickScopesxX" is in the top blue..." etc.. I love the concept of HC, but the 15 second repsawn really kills it, and promotes camping. Also, the Galily silenced is great in HC.

I agree that giveaway videos shouldn't be the most viewed because people are not look at the those vids for their content but instead for just the giveaway. But I think that the big call of duty commentators worked and were good enough to get subscribers and a lot of viewers so its not that they just only became big because of their giveaways. If they got in that position solely based on their giveaways then i can see where it would be shittier. I just hope ppl dont stop viewing other

no one forces people to watch giveaway videos instead of the creative ones. people do that of their own accord and i don't think it's right to judge those who host the giveaways.....just saying.....

@shiguren19 What I am saying is that if giveaway videos start making up all of the spots on the All-time Best Rated, Most-favorited, etc. None of the creative ones will be on the list. I am not talking about day to day videos. I am talking about the All-Time ones. It is very difficult to get on those All-Time lists. Only the best gaming videos have made it on there.
I think giveaways are great. I just don't think they deserve a place among the All-time lists because they are only temporary.
