I was supposed to fly from Dallas to Killen and meet the Austin Rep and on previous trips, we had always eaten at the Luby's in Killeen. However, the night before she called me in Dallas and said she was sick so I didn't go otherwise we both would have been in the Luby's when this incident occurred.

The second ammendment is about protecting your country from possible intruding forces. It was set in case of a British reinvasion plan. There was none. It was useless. Make carrying guns legal. Pull one out in public without just cause, you lose your right to carry one. Have it one gun per person. You want a new one, you take the old one in to be destroyed. You lose it, tough luck.

Bullshit. Not at all the original intent and motivation of the Founders. The 2nd Amendment was introduced for passage in 1789 -- long after the Revolutionary War and the British were no longer a threat.

As far as the rest of your comment goes, better get busy to pass a Constitutional Amendment or a Constitutional Convention to modify the 2nd Amendment for your new "gun-control" plan.
