  • Big Technology.

Hope will become Awesome in near future

  • Some one know, what the currently 'known' minimum rastasize for Chips is?

  • Intel's got the consumer market all figured out, while AMD's Opterons run with the big money, ruling the Server market. One thing I like better about AMD is that the good quality boards, with all the features of the Intel ones come at about half the price(then there's also the little SATAII accident on some 1155 boards). Overall for OC Intel get the performance crown hands down, while AMD get the fun crown, because they're so damn hard(hence fun) to overclock!

  • Hm strange. French people say "ze" as well. But only Germans get bashed for saying it. Nice double standards, just as always, in the United States of America.

  • nice mouse mat XD

  • What is the point of a faster transistor we will never see the difference. waste of money and time

  • @TzzX78 we will never see the difference? come again? that thing will be in your cellphone, home pc, ipod, and more soon.

  • @hardstyle905 chip can be suprer fast but also complaments the rest of the system infrastructure like mother board chip sets and in and out process speeds of the motherboard.

  • Apple A4 processor will be the next big processor revolution

  • this guy needs to work on his accent

  • @olorin818 shitty accent

  • and why do i still have 45 nm.i demand a refund.

  • ahhhhh french man.....

  • Bonjour, je voudrais remercier Intel pour faire une telle super processeur. Ce processeur est si bon à multitâche que je peux manger mon bauggette, pétanque jouent en même temps que de regarder youtube.

  • What is meaning of lcd displays in front of motherboard. First is power (in watts), they didn't mention voltage level so that we can calculate amperage. Also what is meaning of next three displays? Bye

  • WAIT, iS that FREE SPACE ON THAT BOARD!!! zomfg

  • They need their little tiny fingers, to install all those 800,000,000 transistors on one chip.

  • You have don't know what Hz means, do you?

  • without have :P

  • actually they have 3,400mhz

or three thousand four hundred mhz..

  • i feel bad for laughing about that but that was hilarious! ahaha

  • Yeah, it was kind of insensitive of me. I should know better, because my own kids are always saying, "daddy, my fingers are bleeding", "daddy, I'm getting hungry and thirsty", "daddy, how many more chips do I have to make?"

  • at least they give me good processors :)

  • little hard to understand. what accent is that

  • French

  • Intel

  • I had no problem with it so I figure it is french-- I am Canadian. We have English as well as French as official languages so I am used to hearing this accent.

  • French Belgium I think.

  • I'm brazilian and I agree with that...

  • 65 watts at 1.5 volts cpu core voltage is not the power of a 65 watt 120 volt light bulb

  • watt : power

    volt : tension

    amp : intensity

    V*A=W

  • wonder how the i5's compare to the i7's. i'm expecting the i7's to preform a bit better because if what i hear is correct, they're trying to have the i5's be the quadcore cpu for the mainstream while the i7's are for the more high end market

  • they won't acctually be called the i5's at all there called lynnfield until intel comes up with a name.

  • sorry, i ment westmere not lynnfield

  • This is one hell of a chip. Too bad Intel is getting too far ahead of AMD.

  • if they make it here, im going to buy it, US manufacture is very polished, very stringent and monitored, people will chose USA over china.. Dont take my word for it, do your research

  • Those benchmark is running on Windows XP rite, hehe

  • vista sucks, windows 7 sucks , xp rocks if you dont know that by now there is something wrong

  • Keep saying that all the way till next year when XP loses support from M$ and none of the software you want is supported on it. The very same thing was being said about Windows XP when it first came out, so where is that Windows 98 machine you had then?

  • Don't need microshits support to run your favorite apps as long as people still use it there will be developers, and it is relatively easy for backwards compatibility.

  • Oh really try running Bioshock on Windows 98

  • just use linux...... im kidding, windows 7 will be good after a service pack or 2 and then we'll all be happy.

  • I have no problems with it now, I'll probably worry about sp's when i do run into a problem.

  • So that AMD won't crush intel :)

  • if AMD is so good, why are there laws protecting them for being pwned by intel?

  • The law isn't there to stop them trashing AMD because AMD is crap, the law is there so that Intel doesn't use all it's money to obtain total market domination. If they were allowed to do it then the entire market would be tied to whatever they decided. No chips this year? Who're you going to complain to. Chips too expensive? Buy someone else's - oops you can't because Intel bought them out.

Competition is what keeps Intel chips so cheap and powerful.

  • @whiternoise2 simple econ.. good simple analys.

  • @whiternoise2 lol. amd isnt crap.

  • @whiternoise2 yeah... yes- AMD crap!

  • @whiternoise2 you democrat/socialists don't understand a damn thing about economics or freedom. you think government is the solution. you socialists have been scaring people with the same marxist monopoly crap for centuries. You said the same thing about microsoft and you wanted to regulate Microsoft. well now the free market created smart phones, google , linux etc so Microsoft is getting their asses kicked by google android, Apple iphone etc.

  • @norandrostenedione I'm not sure what your point was, but Microsoft then created the Windows Phone to compete with Anrdoid, iOS, et al. As a result, Google and Apple should be pushed to produce more competitive products with lower cost margins. It's healthy competition and although I own an Android phone, the reviews for WP7 are generally positive.

What would your economic policies be if you were in power then?

  • Everywhere you go on YouTube, people just can't stop trashing companies. If I watch a Microsoft video, there's an Apple fanboy trashing Microsoft and vice versa. Now, there's you guys. Peace out people! Both of them are great! Just appreciate technology for what it is and not the brand / logo on it!

  • wow can't wait...

  • Awesome 32nm

    Thats unbelivabel

  • Nice case from Danger Den

  • the guy is called Francois not Francios...

    plz fix that

  • wow, im surprised at how people notice the tiniest things, i though we were talking about 32nm processors :P

  • Fixed. Thank you.

  • @galileo021728 are you FUQING Professor FAQiNG FRESHERSSSS WHY THE FAQ PEOPLE PICK OTHERS MOTHER FAQERS..

  • posting something about AMD on the Intel channel is like a atheist walking into a Church. not a good idea.

  • Westmere 32nm FTW!

  • that better be cheaper new mother boards i smell.....otherwise its burning cpus.....

  • who? is awesome lewl

  • I was expecting 35nm! BUT awes0mn3ss!

  • bon chance! c'est excellent!

  • Sadly enough, I bought my last computer (MacPro 2008) so that I can used it at least 4 years so I will not own one of these....

  • :D i want a I7 processer but there too expensive for me :c oh well duel core 2.2 is good enough for me :/

  • i7 920 is not that expensive comparing to E8000 series which is the top of the line Dual core serie .you get more than double the performance . what makes it expensive is that it use different slot and therefore you have to upgrade ram and mobo . x58 mobo and ddr3 ram is not so cheap (comparing to 775 slot mobo and ddr2 .

  • I know that comparing it to the E8000 though

Im comparing my duel core to the i7975 Extreme Edition

  • An other thing that make it expensive is the lack off support. There is not many motherboard out there with socket LGA1366 so they cost a lot. Wait a bit so that every one as a complete line of them and not just one or two and you shall see the price go down and down.

  • holy shit

    32!

  • Holy shit

    imbedded gpu on cpu die!

  • This isn't Larrabee.

  • Well then. You're obviously not listening correctly to what the guy said. Also, you must know that we can clearly see two chip on this die; not in this video but in others.

  • Oh ok. I thought this was the 32nm shrink of Nehalem.

  • It is. But larrabee is not just a gpu on a chip. It's a multicore matrix where you can put every type of "core" you want (where those can be CPU, GUP, PPU, DSP or anything like that), in every possible pattern, on the same processor.

This new cpu seem to have an integrated GPU on it like an other chip on the same die. It's a good idea to reduce complexity of motherboard with integrated video but make the cpu cost a bit more.

Still, those are two different technologies.

  • Just like AMD Fusion :D

  • Yea pretty much. The only difference is that fusion is still, officially, on paper.

  • yeah, but this year, their introducing their mobile Shrike Platform, which is also their first Fusion platform...

  • first! of course..

  • Grow Up!

  • lol

  • LOL
