  • absolute masterpiece

  • The whole groove of this song reminds me of Sympathy for the Devil by The Stones. I love good music. I just wish there were more people my age (90s kids) that respect it as much as I do

  • me gusta , no tengo más explicación

  • this song is hard as hell, i wish when i was in school tha band woulda played this, i can picture this being played in tha stands and everybody goin crazy

  • i was 16....Hay que recuerdo !

  • i was 16....Hay que recuerdo !

  • YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • quien superara esta rola !!!!!!! nadie por supuesto.....

  • One of the times I saw them was in Norfolk, Va in 1972. Shrieve was rockin so hard during this solo that a couple of stage hands had to come out and hold the drum set in place. It was also one of the few times Santana was able to get that sustain to hold in his solo for Incident at Neshabur. Magical

  • @1952sport Incident at Neshabur. Now that's a title I have not heard or even thought about in some time. Music to my eyes and ears ;-/ Thank you.

  • Turn it up!!!

  • Chuck Norris is an old pathetic bald guy with a really bad wig. This is a group of talented people, so please don't even go there.

  • SANTANA---"SOUL SACRIFICE '69"

  • This is what happens when Chuck Norris decides to make music

  • @titox87 Santana is better than Chuck Norris.

  • Every cel in me wants to dance!!!

  • Every cel in me wants do dance!!!

  • cool shakin stuff !

  • cool latino rock the great carlos santana...... real music

  • exelente grupo y tema

  • Cant Beat the raw blistering classic rocknroll

wtf is this??? man i'm leaving to wish a happy new year before this shit get over!!!

    EARGASM fits perfect!!! damn

  • im getting this as a tattoo, man wish i was there in 69:)

  • Also why listen to that ugly-blunt Lady Gaga for? We should remember all of these classical music from late 60s especially legends, like Carlos Santana, Janis Joplin, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Elton John, Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, The Doors, and others who dedicated lives after rock (also like Seals and Crofts, Air Supply, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Scorpions, Chicago, etc.)

  • You know.

  • im with 55racer

  • Eargasm

  • i seen santana in concert for the first time ever and it was my first concert and it was an amazing show just incredable

  • I am 47.My Mum used to play this very album when I was a kid !! I still LOVE it !!

  • keyboard sound a bit pink floyd to me

  • @ddos411 its got a shitload of groove

  • I know this album is great... one of THE BEST albums of all times...

  • Nobody jams like this anymore. Music now is crap compared to this. Shrieve is the most bad ass drummer ever and Santana plays the guitar like he was born with it straped to him. I wish I was born back in those sweet days.

  • mikespike got to agree with you, Mike Shrieve,s drumming second to none the Woodstock version is live music at its very best

  • Full screen the picture and you'll notice hidden pictures within the main of the lion.

Did you see; The legs under the mouth? The lion on the forehead? the two faces facing our on the whiskers of the lion? See how many more you can spot..

  • Mikespke....you are soooooo right!

    Peace from 2WF

  • this song would easily win any battle of the bands competition.

  • I admit... it is tough to resist to dance.

  • yes, I also like the drums on this track! havta check out the countdown...rock.

  • Best instrumental ever!

  • this is santanic....seriously. (vodoo intro)

  • @ramirouk Fuck yeah ... This is better than the modern foolish "music" .... Satanic? oh c´mon.... it´s only psycho¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • I don't care what "classification" this music falls into. IT ROCKS! (I'm 59) I look back at "our music" and it just amazes me. Once in a restaurant, a kid about 10 years old talked his dad into some money for the CD player. He said to his parents "You gotta hear this! This band is amazing!" The next song was The Doors - "L.A. Woman".

  • ahhhhahahahaahaaaaahhhhhhh!!! this is so fucking sick!

  • DRUMS ON THIS SONG ROCK SO MUCH ASSES

  • amazing song

  • An absolute Masterpiece....

  • Possibly their signature song? Close no doubt....

  • Hot the hot chcik on the Woodstock movie has stuck w/ me all these years.....

  • The Woodstock version is the best live song I have ever heard.

  • this whole was the best thing ever made..

  • 41 year old album sounds better than anything today!

  • Agreed. This kind of music tops anything today.

  • @55racer ryt- i dnt know what hapen with us now all is changed 2 bad...and this is not coz we becomes older...

  • @55racer Those 47 people who clicked the dislike button listen to the robots called Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers, Justin Bieber and Lil Wayne and have no respect for music like this and call it "gay". I am not one of those people!

Santana FTW! Thumbs up if you agree!

  • @55racer You got that right.

  • @55racer Spot on!

  • Michael Shrieve is one of the greatest fuckin drummers. love this track, any one else love these drums???

  • @Mikespyke Shrieve blow it. Takes the house down. Unloads. Groove City. Carlos can't keep up..

  • @Mikespyke No one beats Michael Shrieve back then or today...no one

  • song is sick

  • perfect high music, 5 stars

    The cover too..... :)

  • Fucking awesome song <3.

  • This was a popular tune at our high school dances back in 1970.

  • every solo in this song is sick. Both the woodstock and the recorded versions are amazing.

  • love the drums

  • this is music.

  • that drumers a monster!

  • this track was also released on a 45rpm single part 1 and part 2 , crazy , later on bought the album.

  • badasss...

  • The best live rock song ever recorded.

  • Santana virtually created this genre of music by himself , nobody was doing this and shows the creative genius of Carlos .

Little Boy from Tijuana did good !

  • Ten Times Better When Your Stoned :D

  • tahnks for tell in me will do next time :D

  • Hands down, the best....., and FASTEST drum solo to date. Michael,.. Mucho thanks! Nineteen, mescal, 450,000 + audience........GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • in my opinion, "carlos santana is the #1 guitarist of today!!!"

  • you can take the Mexican out of Tijuana,

but you can never take Tijuana out of the Mexican!

You can take the Mexican out of Jalisco but you cant take Jalisco out of the Mexican!

    puto

    muere

  • THIS IS WHAT I CALL MUSIC!!!!

  • You said it!!!!!!!

  • saw them at the Filmore East in 1969 perform the whole album along with CCR and 3 Dog Night. They tore the house down. I bought the album the next day and have been a fan ever since. Thank you Carlos.

  • Hot hot ......You wouldn't understand

  • Comment removed

  • fusik did coverd this song..

  • Can anyone see the hidden faces that make up basically the entire cover. There are legs too at the bottom with a "hoola" skirt as the goatee. The eyes, nose, forehead, cheeks, and eyebrows are faces as well. You can even see them in the mane of the lion. Between the right cheek and the 1st N in santana is a skull in the mane. Tell me if you can see these things too.

  • Lol, I hear em all the time.

  • i can see 5 different faces and a couple of legs

  • I see them every time I look at that cover ^_^ I love art like that

  • SO AWESOME AT WOODSTOCK IN 69-the drummer especially, that much I DO REMEMBER!!!
