  • Good Movie:)

  • To Jimmy:

I see it all of the time in Mexico sellign the gum, ANd the parents are right there with them. So what are you tellign me I should be the caretaker for the world. I think not.

  • I live in Yuma and have worked on farms. So you are preaching to someone who knows what it is about. I still grow a lot of what I eat. What I can;t eat I can for later use. Oh and by the way when you stop shopping and buying the goods that are produced in these low wage countries come and talk to me then. Otherwise, stop your preaching and continue shopping at Walmart.

  • I feel like taking a shit.

  • Well it's me again. Yeh the hated stupid commenter. First off we know it goes on but all of you liilly white ass name callers would rather call names back at me instead of getting off of your duff and doing something about it. I was in LE for years and see the "It is not my problem" type of attitude, or the "I don't want to be a witness" or I did not see anything when asked to solve problems.

And as far a being without papers, why should I worry about a criminal. They should do it legally

  • i've been through all that & i find i don't have anywhere to put the blame:p but i do know that there is people who can help so we don't have to go throughthat. I cant wait to see this movie!

  • I guarantee you that every country on this planet has children workers, whether they do it legally or illegally. More often than not, it's purely a choice between starving and eating. For some prostitution is an alternative, but it just depends where you live/grow up and if you can actually stomach the work.

  • Esse filme parece ser incrível. Além de mexer nas feridas dos E.U.A., espero que assim eles, os políticos, acordem.

  • So many things wrong with these, but i mainly blame the parents and the employers..

  • lets use condoms and stop having kids when we can't afford them

  • @yolyk78 i agree with you..

  • Didn't think this was happening in the U.S of all countries...but everything's possible in the U.S. Seems like all I see of the U.S now are the downsides.

  • Has Robert Rodriguez donated money to help these hard working farm labour children? He's the wealthiest mexican american in Hollywood and one of the wealthiest film directors in general.

  • @answerchef It is actually legal in the US for children to work in the fields at ages as young as 7 (on small farms) and at age 12 on any farm. The parents also often have no choice. They can't afford child care and often need the extra money for their family to survive.

  • @answerchef

It is actually legal in the US for children to work in the fields at ages as young as 7 (on small farms) and at age 12 on any farm. The CARE Act is one attempt to change child labor laws for agriculture so that they are more similar to those for other industries.

  • @answerchef wow dude....I can't think of a stupider comment. Do you really think these people have a choice??? What are they supposed to live on?? And do you really think its as stupid as " they probably lied to the owners of the fields on their age"???? How stupid do you have to be to look at a 10 year old child and think hes 18?????

  • @answerchef not all parents can afford baysitters sometimes it jst necessary especially 4 ppl w/o papers its hard dont judge

  • @answerchef

You should stop eating so to decrease the food demand so they don't have to work for you to have something to eat.

    Or...

You can pay a fair price for YOUR food so the parents can earn a decent wage and give their kids a decent living hood.

  • @answerchef Oh my lord. Do you live in California? Every day do I see Mexican kids as young as 10 doing lawns, selling fruits at Freeway exits, and so on. Go to Mexico, and it only gets worse, you'll be welcomed by kids as young as 4 selling bubble gum at the border. True story.

  • @answerchef alright blockhead. blame your fellow worker, not the root of the problem.

  • @ccraigd89 Your right, last week they had grapes on sale for 77 cents per pound, when was the last time you bought a sale item like that. We are all the problem by not demanding that the companies and goverments are responsible. We allow it all in the form of price shopping. I see hear of people ripped off each day just because they are greedy or want the cheapest product. And don't forget about the sharholders and your 401k's that invest in these companies that sponsor this.

  • @answerchef The people who employ them, or the officers who look the other way from things like this should be the ones held accountable. Not the parents.

  • really, it is very hidden issue here in America....it is a shame in anywhere.

  • sad but true

  • I have been there. These kids remind me of myself. I did drop out of school in the 10th grade but was blessed to have been given an opportunity in life. I was was lucky enough to be able to serve my country in the military for 24 years. Traveling from Texas to work in the feilds of Colorado made me feel as if I didnt belong in any one place. I never thought I was going to make it out of there. To those kids still out there keep your head up have hope and fight for for a better life. God bless.

  • good because bestfriend Zulema coming out in it.

  • when does this movie come out?

  • @dallascowboysfansite The film is being completed right now and should be released sometime this winter/early 2011!
