No they did not write this song, SR-71 gave them permission and let them do with it what they wanted. Jaret said it in an interview. But of course BFS made it rock. =)

Actually, no. SR-71 wrote it. BFS and SR-71 are good friends and I think they gave it to BFS to play. Not sure why or anythinkg but I know BFS didn't write this. They did modify the lyrics though
