@liljonsp616 This is definitely up there, but the 12/3/94 with the giant country horns in san jose or davis? that was on "A live one" is my fav., they also did an extended tease of Alumni Blues, and a "Touch me" by the doors, I really wish that I would have gotton a job with these guys in the 90's even if it was flying in Nathans hot dogs for fish.,,,,,,,,,,,,working for a punk rock all chic band would be cool too.

Damn has that laid-back, smooth summer dance-party vibe that makes Summer '98 such an awesome tour. Easily one of their all-time best tours ever, undoubtedly. I just wish I had been into them at the time. Im pretty sure I was listening to Jay-Z and DMX at this age, haha

@jbdfc they are ultra comfortable. you cant hear the comfort? they havent a worry in the world up there. they will play the song, ease into the jam and let the jam develope and then let it end. its called going with the flow. nowadays trey continously cuts off potentially exciting jams just so he can fit a few more songs into the setlist. its too structured and obstructed. the free form abstraction and comfort felt on stage through every part of the song and jam is what i miss most. :)

I REALLY hope they come to the Gorge this summer. I'm 14 and I've never been to a show but I've heard every show there is to here. I just want to experience that magic live. I know listening to them every day for the past 10 years has changed my life, and I can only imagine what seeing them will do for me. The only chance of me getting tickets will be them coming to the Gorge or maybe Oregon/Idaho... That's the only way I could get my dad to go... Anybody think they;ll come to the Gorge?

These were very fun shows indeed! It happened at these shows, my third/fourth time seeing phish and I got hooked, literally! It could've been the caps. It could've been the Divided Sky at sunset that follows this Gumbo. Or it could've been the music, combined with the caps, and the divided sky.. Dear me, oh my, I reckon it has far more to do than just those things! Very memorable occasion!

Shared an amazing opportunity to see a show in this glorious place in 1997. two evenings back to back! Sun-set was stellar. Sage flying in the air. Then catching a ride across the I67 to Chicago. Econoline Van...Kids from NewYork. wild!!! Landed at the Chicago show. Picked up beer cans in the parking lot and recieving two free tickets from a police officer! Yahh!!! What a twist of good luck!
