This guy is smarter, when he is asleep at 3 AM, than 85% of the rest of the world is at 12 noon on a bright sunny day. To envision, and then PULL IT OFF, the Woodstock festival at the Winston Farm property in Saugerties NY in August of 1994 is easily one of the greatest accomplishments of any producer EVER! It is a very different world now and for him to have done the things he accomplished in the eras he did them in is amazing. Woodstock, Altamont and Woodstock '94 are pretty big feathers! A+

I just love this man...this is what's it's all about people. Michael Lang is soooo right on and hopeful for us all. Screw the money thing. Woodstock changed the world. So many people/media conglomerates have tried to down play Woodstock. But guess what?? It's been the biggest, shape-changing event of all mankind...it encompassed the heart, soul, and drive of a youth that knew better in an age of ultra-conservativism, and shape-shaping emission of higher archy--wholly shamolly, realm...

It was NOT his idea! It was Artie Kornfeld's along with his wife and Michael was there. How can he say that? Artie was his friend and carried him through much of it. No MENTION of Artie??!!

The guy who portrayed Michael Lang in "Taking Woodstock" is Jonathon Groff- a young actor, known for his Broadway work. He's gorgeous. :-)
